Keeping the house was definitely a good decision because unlike money, a house can never completely lose its value since you can live in it
As long as the neighborhood doesn't end up degrading into a slum section this is true.
Videos where you just talk are superb. You're a sensationally good speaker who delivers these off-the-cuff tales so eloquently, with fabulous vocabulary and humour. It's an amazing gift and you do it so much better than the scripted professionals.
I agree 100%… these types of videos where she just talks and talks are some of my favorites!!
No they're not goes on far too long exaggerates she Ford has nothing else to do right now
her nickname should be hustle not hussy these videos are way too polished to be done without a great deal of effort😀
Her lisp is terrible though.
The panty' dude used a ladder...
The girl could tell you about paint drying and we would love it
Yes, the pine needles were from their shoes; as they walked under the tree to the back of your building. They then simply stood on your neighbors railing below you, reached up and grabbed your patio floor and pulled themselves up crawling over your railing (22:12). They got down using the same method. It's a super easy feat for someone who is tall or fit enough to reach up there. You wouldn't get pine needles on your shoes from climbing a tree, you'd get them from walking on the ground UNDER that tree.
Could have been the neighbor in the balcony next door. And pine needles from the 2 patios.
Greatest story teller ever. That's one of the reasons I love you so much. Please don't never change. Much love from Georgia
Absolutely agree with you 👏👏👏
The rich boyfriend should have paid his share.
Agree 🎉
I agree! Wish we could be friends and I live here in Vegas
She's an amazing story teller - seriously amazing.
Great story Wonder Hussy!!! 👍👍👍 I was away for 2 years for my combat deployment in Iraq from 2006-08. I nearly died there in Iraq from combat patrols and IEDs. But I missed Las Vegas very much... 😭😭😭 I came home in April 2008 and American Airlines was nice enough to play Viva Las Vegas by Elvis as I landed home. The stewardess saw me in uniform and we talked, she said that she was from San Deigo and her Dad was retired from the Navy. I told her I grew up Navy in San Deigo when I was a kid. She told the captain of the plane and played Viva Las Vegas for me. It brought tears in my eyes and thanked her for it. She was Miriam a stewardess from American Airlines..💋💋💋❤❤❤
Thanks for your Service 🇺🇸
@@elroyfish4295 😂😂😂😂 What's your problem old dude? Are you not famous enough? What's your problem with people like me? I say you are the biggest Billy Bad Ass that won the Medal of Honor and better than Alvin York and Audie Murphy right? Yes you are a super bad ass hero that you are documented to be as super famous that you are on on Wikipedia and every museum with your name on it right? Well I am honored to have true combat heroes like you to look up to.. 😂😂😂😂 I will say "Thank you for your service." Either for real or in your head if you even had the balls to even join or enlist in time of war or peace.. 😂😂😂😂😂🙄🙄🙄
@@elroyfish4295 So what's your problem with veterans?
@@elroyfish4295 ???? I don't see anything else about you? Are you one of those people that almost joined?
@@elroyfish4295 Well aren't you a big hero? You are braver than Audie Murphy and Alvin York right? So are you one of those people that almost joined?
Been in Vegas since 85' and know all the spots/areas you mention. Friends said I should have bought a house back then. I said "Hell, I turned 21 in Vegas, who needs a house!" I liked hanging at the Cleopatra bar in Caesars the 2nd floor bar at the Tropicana when they had the moving walkways with the salt water fish tanks. $1.99 breakfasts on Fremont...when it was still an actual road. The Landmark...concerts at the convention center when it looked like a UFO......Ahhh
..I miss the old Vegas.
wow The Landmark I almost forgot about that place. My grandma worked there. She loved to go to The Showboat and I would hang out at the bowling alley. I miss old Vegas also.
"I have no clue how he got up on my balcony" as she's standing right next to a ladder! 😆😂🤣
I was thinking that too. The question is was wonderhussy just oblivious - talking around the obvious (mentioning the landlady showing the ladder) - subliminally aware but not conscious....pretty sure she is a very bright person.
The ladder is only there for maintenance reasons its not there all day genius
@@user-hd1hd6tu6l You can't even recognize an Ironic joke when you see one! Now who's the genius! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And the fact that you would even comment about this, get a life dude... no, really...
For anybody that don't know:
Las Vegas is the start anew city. It's recognized by locals, as leaving any past luggage behind, before entering Las Vegas. Moved there in 97'. Left Vegas in 10'. Boy.. Las Vegas could give you alot of nostalgia. Because there's so much going on. That watching videos like this could make you reminisce fondly.
You are very smart keeping your house.
Don’t ever change your mind👍🏻
Thank you for sharing all this fun stuff on my 59th birthday! What a great gift❤️👍🏻
@@heidiscott9226 Thanks Heidi😊
mine is today, Happy Birthday...!

After 44 years living in Vegas I moved 90 miles away in early 2020. I didn't realize how much I would miss the city. Like you said there is something exciting about Vegas that keeps calling me back. Many of the places I lived there are long gone but I get the same nostalgia when I visit my old neighborhoods. I lived in some pretty janky places but those were such great times that I look back at them very fondly.
"Build it and they will come!
I moved from a large city the same time, same distance, I have to go back every now and then just to keep my sanity.
I can offer $25 for the new, and $50 for the used.
Owning you house free and clear is a very smart move. I definitely think you should keep it also. You have a fun channel.
Check back in 6 months. Not even the middle of summer heat.
Absolutely true Mark.. But what gets under my skin is how after 20+ years of paying a mortgage every month, then that wonderful day comes when you get that title/deed to Ur home, guess what happens when you don't keep paying the government there cut from property taxes?
They send men with GUNS to kick you out of Ur home, then they sell Ur home to get there extortion money AKA taxes then they give you what's left after also paying fees from all the shit they used to legally kick you out of Ur home...
The amazing part is how the Founding Fathers gave us a Constitution that gives the common citizen Rights to contest or even fight back against a tyrannical government, but today's government wants to take all our Rights away through fear tactics & mind manipulations.
Exactly 💯 to have another income from a rental is great. As long as they don't trash the place and pay rent 😊
That house in Vegas is your Security Blanket and Retirement Fund. Hang on to it.
You're one crazy storyteller...love you and what you do...cheers...
She is soO GrooveY"
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Vegas does grow on you.
Sarah, remember this - Everywhere you've been is somewhere you had to be, to be where you are now.
It took me 2 years of living in DTLV to spot Wonderhussy's house, about 3 months after she moved away. She's very smart to hang on to that spot. ☺
You're right Amber. It is so good that she held onto it. Awesome investment.
I was having a stressful day until I came here to take a break with our beloved wonderhussy ❤
Hi Wonderhussy! Memelord Mark here again. I lived in 'Evoq' back in the late 80's - early 90's when it still had it's original moniker Las Palmas Luxury Apartments on Edison. I started in a two bedroom and ended up in a one bedroom. Shortest move ever. About 25'.
I really liked it there. It was not gated at the time. It was an island of normalcy in a decidedly sketchy hood. That's why it had such high walls around the property.
I got stories about the Mardi Gras!! Sierra Vista (one block away) is probably still one of the most dangerous streets in town. 😎😏😎
Great story telling. Yes, until you own a home outright, you never know what security feels like. Sleep well at night.
You're such a real person. Love the way you tell about you're life
That’s what I love most about her and her channel. She’s better than any reality tv I’ve ever seen and not one of them has kept me hooked like she does. It also helps that she’s lived such a unique life compared to probably most of us that watch her channel!
Sarah is very ReaL " thank God she'sr normaL
It was really great listening to you tell your Vegas stories, you're so open about it. Also, what a great insurance you have by still owning your home their in Vegas, smart move on your behalf. I live at the other end of the spectrum, on a lake in Northern WI. No matter where you live, it's true there's no place like home.Even if you're hot or cold lol.
Great video. Awesome story telling
Well, that story makes me feel like my “where I lived, and what I lived for seem… so restrained. Thanks for sharing.
Love your Vegas storytimes and look-backs. October 2000 was when the CSI show first started (set in Vegas), and it gave many international people like me a wide-eyed WOW sentiment of Vegas.
21 years ago it was affordable to eat out daily. Inexpensive buffets, great steak deals.
Wonderhussy is a fascinating person.I always enjoy her stories.
This is a great story! You finally got it right, buying your home during a recession is a winning play,. I have twice bought a house during hard times and sold both when prices were sky-high. My third house is very nice. Prior profits from the first houses have put me in a great position.
I would guess the thief was one of the neighbours. So, yes, you were probably right about naked man.
You're a true survivor and not afraid to dive into life and pay the price for bad decisions. After all, they weren't bad decisions at the time. Just a learning process. I'm impressed that you still own that house. Don't let it go!
Best video yet!
Broke my neck in bad accident and discovered your videos in my recovery, still ongoing thanks for being a great inspiration to keep hanging on. I honestly think that you and your videos have inspired me to keep hanging on!
Hope you’re doing well! Sarah definitely has helped me get through some tough times myself! Hope your recovery is going well!
I like to drive by the places I used to live, even though some are bad memories.
Been away for just a bit but ALWAYS come back! Sarah, you can talk the moon out of the sky! 🌛🌚🌜Absolutely love your videos! Thanks so very much!
A clue the ladder is still there Lol
Wow. Lived in the Shelter Cove apartment complex in Vegas 30 years ago. Couldn’t believe it when you mentioned the corner of Sahara and Decatur then showed that sign. Incredible that the complex still has the same name. Thanks, brought back some memories of better days.
I’m gonna stay at the Holiday Royal and request the Wonderhussy suite!
Gotta say...This video is raw, unvarnished, close to the bone TRUTH. One of your best ever...and that is saying a lot 'cause your videos are all great. Girl, you are a trooper! Your fans love you...and I am one of them!
I like this Video best, I'm laughing my ass oFF"
Wow what a great tour and story! It’s always enjoyable listening your adventures !

Sandy here: A cute video Sarah, and a good object lesson about keeping your "moral compass" intact and gaining maturity. You are doing just fine, keep up the good work.
Stay safe and be well ❤❤ Sandy and Ruth ❤❤
You were not the only person traumatized by the 2007-2008 RE/bank/foreclosure crisis. Be at peace over what happened. You got through it with your personal integrity much more intact than any bank did.
It was great seeing you revisit the places you lived. I am tempted to go revisit the 16 places I have lived. About every 4th place would be especially interesting. #0 was the hospital where Derek Jeter was born, well after I was. #4 was my college dorm. #8 was the first house I bought, at age 24 after being married for 3 years! #12 would be interesting, might require calling that ex girlfriend to make sure she wouldn't lure me to be hers again, or call the cops on me for driving by, lol. And #16 was a hasty move due to family pandemic decisions, which turned out well enough that I'm still there.
Good job not creeping out the tenants with a drive-by video!
Thanks for sharing your life with us, it's always interesting to hear your back story. That complex looks really nice!
👆Congratulations 🎁 🎉 You’ve been selected as the winner of today’s GIVEAWAY PACKAGE 👍 Text me to receive prizes ❤Thanks for watching🤝
You are so compelling and engaging when you tell your stories! I can totally relate to your experiences, having had some similar ones when I arrived in Southern California. Thank you, my dear Wonderhussy!
I lived in Vegas for a couple years back in like 2007, and I still miss it!! I was near E. Hacienda and Pecos Rd. I love the city!
Thiese stories had me laughing so much!
"kept drawing dicks on my car"!
"I had three hillbillies living in the basement" LMAO
Now, someone stealing panties has psycho serial killer written all over it for me, that would freak the heck out of me!!
Very, VERY smart to keep the house in Vegas still!! You never know ....
I love to hear about your life and your stories about the little things. 👍❤
I had a sketchy rental once and the landlords broke into my apartment and stole various items jewelry and clothing and stuff. The idiots left the ladder next to my window. I immediately called the police. Broke my lease and got my money back for the 3 months I lived there. Jeezus. What a creepy and violating feeling.
Glad you weathered the panty thief and Dick artist okay 🥴
Recently found this channel and been Binge watching for the past week. I love all the amazing places you take us too.
Best lemonade stories. You're a natural
Love your videos, so entertaining. I enjoy videos about your history so much more than hot springs. Keep them coming, you got my attention.
Yes, Sarah, you're a great story teller. Loved your residence history tour and your panty theft story. The world is full of creepy people, just glad that's the only bad experience you had and that was all he took. Could have been a lot worse for sure. Sounds like you've managed your affairs well and still have a residence if you ever need it again. Much love to you, Sarah!💖💖😉😉
I opened the blinds in my breakfast nook one Saturday morning just as my male neighbor came up out of his swimming pool starkers. The wall between our houses wasn't high enough to hide such events. So he was standing there and I quickly closed the blinds. A couple days later his wife called to ask if I would mind if they built the wall higher. They paid for it.
Nothing weird about collecting maps 😊
love when you do these videos best story teller ever
@22:20 the ladder behind her as she ponders how someone could have gotten onto her balcony!!!
😅
You should do another round of going on reality/game shows do as many as you can.
Great story. Thank you for sharing. It is a thing that we become smarter with all of the experiences that we live. Sounds like you became a stronger person from everything.
It's so nice to live in the middle of nowhere and hear the coyotes when they come by....... I lived in Phoenix and in Tempe for a little while and also in Hillsboro Oregon and that's enough City life for this country boy for the rest of his life......😇^_^
very thoughtful of you as a landlord not to even pass by your rental house , so as not to upset your renters . very rare commodity esp here in vegas
The old saw about property, " Land is the only thing they aren't making more of." I would agree with your logic. It's off to Chipotles for Dinner.......
WH never ceases to amaze me - as a professional youtube viewer - I see maybe hundreds of videos a week - I have a very short attention span - but hussy keeps me enthralled with her story telling acumen. She could be even telling us about old places she lived - and it would be spell binding. If I did video on the places I lived - I think it would be viewed twice - by my mother and my sister.
I love your storytelling. 💙💫💃🏼
Who needs Hollywood. You're a star regardless. Oh and I love the shot of the plane. Wonderhussy rocks!
I went through Las Vegas in 1988 via Greyhound. At the time I was struck by the contrast between ‘The Strip’ (?) and the other streets, on the Main Street, wall-to-wall neon signs etc., whereas the rest of the town were these dusty, somewhat run-down houses. I got an uncomfortable feeling from the place, a gigantic vacuum cleaner designed to suck tourist wallets until it got lint. The only place I would have liked to see was the nearby Nellis Air Force base.
Oh, my stars! You could write a book about you adventures. So loved this video. Thanks, WH💖!
Your so Funny 😂 love your story telling, we all need to laugh a lot more so thanks😂
"Now I don’t know how they got in,” as our intrepid Wonderhussy points toward the extension ladder parked against the wall.
Maintenance man with access have a key watching your activities. Good thing it didn’t go any further than that. We love you wonder Hussey peace
It was nice going along with you to visit you former residences. It was a good idea that you kept your house in Vegas. Looking forward to seeing more vlogs of your adventures soon! Best wishes and hopes. Stay safe and awesome! 🧧🤙
It was worth the time watching this video! I learned that no one has it easy in life! Wonder hussey has taught me to live life to the fullest and take the punches life throws at you! BUYING a house is not the American dream , thank 🙏 you for opening my eyes ! I truly believe this video was made for me to watch, it felt like Wonder hussey was put on earth for a reason and her calling is to put a smile on our faces! There is always light at the end of the tunnel!
Very authentic, I love how free you are to be whatever you want to be!
You were lucky to get that short sale approved. Banks would rather foreclose (a cleaner legal process for the lender). Short selling would have been a nerve-wracking process.
I did enjoy your life story in this video! While you are a special kind of odd I do appreciate what a great person you appear to be. I do enjoy your videos! Now if only I could get past the hairy pits…
Another amazing job with flawless execution on your story telling. Kept me engaged and entertained. Glad you're supplementing your income with renting out your house. I know how it is to lose everything and have to start from scratch so I can relate even though I'm a dude who never dealt with obscure vandalism or underwear theft. Keep strong and keep up the hard work, I appreciate you.
Moved to Vegas in 2007, lived in 3 apts, bought a house in Henderson, sold it so we could buy a home in Pahrump, love the semi rural life, loving your story telling
Started seriously laughing my ass off when you were talking about the one leg hillbillies 😂
Glad to hear you have a handgun when you do so much exploring in remote locations.
Funny how so many of us have so many similar type experiences in life. Apartment living is a challenge. Living in a big city is a hassle. But I get that you love the energy of Vegas cause I do too and I'm from the cornfields.
I stayed at Budget Suites of America on a few 3 or 4 week down times in between traveling contract work. It is transient and not unusual to see a cop car once a week usually a domestic dispute. One night this drunk dude was walking around outside and I was just keeping an eye on him. He actually said 'Hi! Let's have a drink! Can I come in?' I laughed and said 'No man. You got to go home.' He laughed and wandered off. Vegas!
You have a great talent for making the mundane interesting.
I've only been to Vegas once, and I stayed at the Palace Station! That was cool to see it again!
The Mardi Gras hotel??????? In 1986 working for Panasonic we supported Comdex and the CE shows. All the good strip hotels were fully booked so they used to put the engineers and salesmen at this hotel. They named it the MARDI DUMP!!!!! and it had doors that needed hasps to lock safely, gunshots and screams every night, and totally weird room layouts. And of course the place was filthy. But the CE shows rocked back then. Panasonic had multiple hospitality suites and we had the complete rotunda at the Flamingo Hilton. Gosh those were fun daze!!!!!!
Love your true life tales, especially of Vegas...

I love listening to your interesting life, my decades each had their ups and downs when I look back were character building like yours. Had relationships but stayed single.☮️🌵smart move keeping the 🏡
Sheryl Crow's " Leaving Las Vegas" comes to mind!! Have a blast shopping!!!
I know I've said it before, but these story-telling videos are your best work!
I used to live on E. Sahara and Lamb at maycliff RV and mini storage. The night after I left, the 7-11 across the street was robbed, the clerk did all that was demanded and was shot anyway. My parents worked at Terrible Herbst and during orientation one of the people doing the orientation, starts out with "When you are robbed.." not IF but WHEN.
the charm of your delivery and Knowledge,
Maybe they used that ladder to get on the balcony. 😄
You radiate charm, Sarah. Delightful retrospective on your Vegas abodes.
A home in Vegas and one in the desert.
Perfect.
One advantage of the Town Car, was the massive bumpers, to protect it from idiots.
The first house I bought (on the G.I. bill) was priced at $9,000. The mortgage payment was $72 a month for 30 years. I calculated what I was obligated to pay for that $9,000 house and over the life of the loan I would have paid more than three times the purchase price! That happens because as you're paying off a mortgage you don't begin to pay down the value of the house until after you've paid all the interest on the loan! Yeah, that seems like a rip off to me too!
You get the deductions, despite inflation your payments remain the same and home value usually doubles every 7-8 years. Stop whining!!!
Wow ! This video and the last one about the Marijuana Grow Farm were among two of the best and most interesting ones you have released ( in my opinion) in a while. Kudos to your efforts in making both of them. The change of pace from the norm really captivated me !
I agree great story teller. That was a fun video, can't wait until the next one.
Luv the Min-a-SO-ta / Fargo impression - you truly are multi-talented 😍
Hey Sarah, as always a treat to see your channel! your incredible personality and enthusiasm! I lived in Vegas at that same time! I recall Sahara and Decatur being a pretty OK area! there were a lot of really really good restaurants and shopping there! there was a restaurant on the Southwest corner that was really good and it’s driving me nuts because I can’t remember the name! I think it was a chain too, I think it Started with a C!
Haha! We used to be neighbors 🤣 I lived in the Sahara West apartments behind Vamp's and Hash House A-Go-Go right down the street from Shelter Cove.
Super interesting.Almost walked away from my house in the Bay Area and the house I bought in Summerlin in 2007.Really glad I didn’t.It was smart of her to hold on to her house.Well done.
Oh wow - I lived in Sahara Palms in 1998 - 2000 I worked in one of the office buildings and could literally walk to my apartment for lunch. My rent was $500, it was pretty great. Loved the big trees.
