(05:55) The only way that i found to fix the background overlapping issue is to lower the values on the 'SacleX' and 'ScaleY'. I lowered the value on both from 100 to 90.

Magnificent. But I want the exact opposite thing. UA-cam and Google Drive forcefull ad an annoying and undesired translucid / semi-transparent box around the subtitles after uploading any kind of file (.SRT, .STL, .VTT, etc.) when all I want is my subtitles not to have a box at all. I would like to know how to REMOVE this annoying box or force UA-cam/Google Drive not to show it.

I don't know if you already explained this, but
If you only want some subtitle to have a background (let's say, because there are already subtitle but in a different language), you have to make new subtitle style first, and then apply some of the subtitle as a new subtitle style, and then apply the background

Hi, can someone please tell me which version of Subtitle Edit I need to download in order to create this semi transparent subtitles. In Subtitles Edit version 3.6.2 , I can't see anywhere the "Box per line". Please tell me which version contains that feature. Thank you!
In format, change the option to Advanced Sub Station Alpha
Im sorry to say but this doesnt work for me...the subtitle doesnt change any shape or formation...that box doesnt appear on my subtitles

Do you know of a way to add images to ASS subtitles? The format seems to support a Picture event type, but I haven't been able to find how to add them using Aegisub or Subtitle Edit, and I couldn't get it to work when trying to add a Picture line manually (with either a file path or an embedded image in the [Graphics] section).
Even just a working example file that uses a Picture would be super helpful :-)
How do you only add the opaque background to few subtitles, not them all? Seems like when you add it as style, it goes universal across all of them. How to avoid that and limit to few only? Thanks
