i see what nikita means. the recoil itsself is *unchanged* but its more of a visual thing. it isn't an 0.13 shit recoil thing its just making it _feel_ more fluid compared to 0.13 where it was bouncing around and was actually like that.
What he meant by rotating thing is they added rotational horizontal tilts to the guns while firing to make them feel more natural, you can especially notice the lack of weapong tilts while using pistols or high recoil guns like the FAL they look comical and unnatural.

I've always wondered when the recoil is showcased like this here... did he input some recoil control with his mouse or did he just let the recoil controlled solely by the game/actor recoil parameters ? This is something i've dealt with a lot when making gun mods for other games telling to people : input some god damn mouse control, it's like real life even a 5.56 will rip if you don't shoulder and control it properly... It's maybe not that bad now actually

honestly i would prefer that because whenever im using full auto, my character cant keep up with where the sights are aiming at downrange so im basically shooting but my head is in the same position, and my gun is moving further up.

The recoil looks good in this video. Its about right for full auto fire. No real person can control a full auto burst to score all hits in a torso sized target at 100. The stringing muzzle rise is odd on some weapon but not everything can be perfect. I think people just want to be able to make unrealistic shots at range like in COD

Recoil is fine how it is. Nobody has even asked for changes. Finally though why the hell should a highly trained pmc struggle with recoil anyway? If anything they should add wayyy more weapons mastery levels and the higher you are , the better the recoil is for said weapon etc

The old recoil experience is basically keep shooting until your character starts to control it for you, it encourages mag dumping over single shots or short bursts which honestly doesn’t make sense

Everyone else is strugling to see wtf is happening with their point of aim that does not even coincides with where the gun is shooting because PCM's eyes go into shoulders for some fucking reason.
It is not necessarily increasing the recoil, and he is using unmodded weapons with already higher recoils, but what is the point of changing this when the gun play is already good right now? What do they hate about iron sights though it seems like it will be harder to use them with this system when they already don't have that much of a use case. I don't think the realism argument holds up anymore with how tarkov is going, so any change like this will be perceived as negative to most players.

You're right. It's .11 or .12 recoil. They've gone and readded the initial HIGH recoil on the first few shots then stabilizing mid mag.
