Art is not something that most people can do. It is a talent. So if you are really bad, im sorry to tell you that you won't get good.
You CAN get better, you just need to practice and try different styles.

A good tip is to grab any random object and spend like 15 minutes drawing it. Try using other styles too. It's not that you can't draw, you haven't figured out how yet.

Mark, when you erase your guidelines nothing else disappears or gets smudged. Can you please elaborate on how this is done? This is one of my biggest issues with just starting out. You wave the eraser like magic all the regular stays. What magic is this??
I can't help but notice that you're not using a ticonderoga in this video, can you point out please which pencils you were using? If not fine, and I love this waving arms techniques, used it myself a few times I must say ^_^
Well, he is using a 2 pencil in the beginning, but I am pretty sure you can use anything from a 4h to a regular Ticonderoga for the guidelines. As for the second half, it was definitely darker so he probably used a black color pencil or something like a 6B to 8B pencil.

Usually when katakana is used it’s used to Write foreign words or gairaigo in Japanese for example the name Gandalf from LOTR would be written ガンダルフ (gandarufu). I’ve always had a weird interest in Japan and am currently saving to go on holiday.
