Michael Patrick!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yamaha, please pay this man well!!!!! He's selling record numbers of keyboards for your company. And no I'm one of his family members nor am I his agent. I just recognize genius talent when I see it.
Stumbled on you by mistake looking at Anderton. Sweet mistake. hell, you sounded so good I ran out and brought the keyboard the next day. What are the patches you're using?
.why yamaha montage 8 does not have string resonance an damper resonance ,that very important for piano playing.......? i hope will be able in the next update ...... thank you yamaha......
Nicely played, but .. why there are always those disturbing tremolos, ... especially on the left channel (?).. May be it would be better to ad some reverb on it .. to "mask" it, or just to set up new samples, which doesn't have this (to me) very disturbing un-calmness of the string-sounds ..
I understand what you are saying, it is very unnatural sounding. I also think that there is way too little attack on the string sound. I will also go contrary to most comments I've seen here say that I thought the performance was fairly lackluster, not much excitement or demonstration of the instruments capabilities, and very repetitive without much variation. But subjective criticism aside, something seemed off in the legato playing, that was not helped by the lack of attack in the string sound. That being said, I would like to get my hands on one of these workstations and see what it can do!
