Were you at the show? There was nothing wrong with the crowd. It was just early in the day, so a lot of people were still walking around. The people watching from the lawn were generally having a good time...
I know man, I think its just weird to me cause I saw them in coffee shops in like 2005, right when they were starting out. Its been cool to see them progressively grow, I never thought they'd get big enough to play in a basketball arena but they did.
Exposure... There were a decent amount of people on the lawn. You don't gain many new fans by constantly just playing to your already-existing fans. Gotta get out there and spread your music to new ears and new faces.
I would have loved to see this tour. If you would have told me years ago Alice in Chains and Circa would be on the same tour, I'd laugh my ass off. But it happened.. and I fucking missed it. By the looks of it, unfortunately I didn't miss much. But still, two of my fav bands together is always awesome
jeez what is this a festival where meatloaf headlines??? i can't believe there is nobody there. circa survive is so incredible... you can't find a show in the midwest where its not a holes to elbows packed to see this band.
Unfortunately, he did an amazing job at "Oh, Hello" here compared to recent years now. Sucks, but that comes with aging among other factors. At least he can still sing!
I was just commenting on the types of tours they have been on, they did like a metal festival awhile back. Now this one with janes addiction, alice in chains, etc. Perry Ferrell is a big influence of anthony greens.
best "oh hello" live
I don't blame Anthony for being turned around most of the time. He's getting more love and energy from his band.
