Finland s National Anthem was not written by J.Sibelius. He was born 1865 and the N.A was created 1846-1848.

Nice presentation, thank you! The Helsinki Cathedral among other buildings on the Senate Square were designed by German architect Carl Ludvig Engel who lived also in St Petersburg and designed buildings there. That is why the buildings round the Senate square resemble buildings in St Petersburg.
Finland was part of Sweden for 600 years and during that time transformed into a lawful, organised society. University of Turku and lots of cities were founded. Also dozens of churches, castles and fortresses were built (including Sveaborg or Suomenlinna). Sweden did develop Finland a lot, and if Russian history books claim otherwise, then that is simply incorrect.

@@Travel.and.Nature because tsar Nikolai fucking murdered us in famine just like Stalin did in ukraines holodomor.
We left that murderers statue on The Square so no one would never forget what russians did to us.
Reason why we wouldve rather died in Winterwar than Be subjects to dictatorial AHs.
