I think the Where’s Waldo item is a graded NES cartridge from 1991. Wild.
Correct, I missed that
Yeah that’s what I was coming here to say. The graded video game market is a scam
@ericzdrojewski137 why?
It goes without saying..
Maybe we can get it down to one letter or an emoji😮
Vintage football never gets the play that vintage baseball does.
Nice Joe Thomas Snipe!! Good eye to the person who spotted that in the listing!!
That's Ken Griffey Sr.'s autograph on the Griffey Jr. card.
Bingo.
The Griffey card is a mock up used only for promotional purposes. You see this a lot with higher end products that promote certain hits.
That signature is a facsimile and is what his signature likely looked like on his original Upper Deck contract.
I really like regular rollers but you really should filter out the overpriced eBay garbage and the stupid questions.
broth knows. Lots of players have different signatures for official documents. Mariano Rivera uses a much simpler signature when it's not for fans.
Regular Rollers Rocks. Both high and regular, Michael
Nice job on the 58 Sonny!
That's a beautiful card even with the o/c or miscut. Definitely a keeper.
13:15 I know some ppl that stay "High" on the "Regular" 😂
Thanks again for your hard work
Chris, the where's waldo is a NES Nintendo game. Not sure if anyone pointed that out already.
The 60-70s football lot with the Namath and Unitas also has a sneaky 76 Topps Jack Lambert Rookie that's about 20-25$
Byron Mcglaughlin story was crazy!
Awesome show 😎
I love regular rollers and the stories you have!
Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer regular rollers over high rollers
So sick of so many people always trying to take advantage of others.... I feel guilty if I walk by a piece of paper on the ground for crying out loud. I don't know how some of these people 💤
For the ‘1970s Vintage Topps a football HOF Card Lot’ (Namath) you say shruggingly that you’d have paid $50 for it. Would you have paid closer to $70? Shipping is $13.65 and if the buyer has to pay taxes too that’s another $4. Seems thin to me.
Regarding the Griffey auto, it is a facsimile that is similar in style to the facsimile on his 1989 Bowman RC. So it would be a very early style auto from The Kid. Luckily for us, it didn't take him long to learn to take pride in his auto, so now we are blessed with a market full of aesthetically pleasing Griffey autos as he has one of the best autos in sports. Apthough as a Griffey collector, I'll take an early Kid auto any day due to their scarcity.
The autograph looks like Senior's autograph and the photo on the card looks like Senior as well.
The Ryan auto is definitely legit but that looks like a fake Desert Storm card if I'm not mistaken. Nolan Ryan is my favorite and I'm going to Burbank show to try and trade into an OPC rookie. I may have to offer my used Camry and find a long ride home.
I love these informational videos Chris..I’ve never been booked into that error nonsense..what I do have fun in searching for is matching miscut cards of the two players whose cards fit perfectly together..Over the years I have managed to find 4 different issues..although strange it is fun ..and cheap
Looks like a pre 1997 Griffey auto, can look up 1996 Spx Griffey, bet promotion material used just took his old auto style from file not the new style.
Ken Griffey Sr. signed his K and G like that. It looks like his auto but with the Jr. added..that's weird lol.
That was my thought too
Griffeys auto has changed over the years But the guys in the griffey FB card group would know for sure
LOL Interesting lol on that triple auto card
I may be wrong because Bowman chrome uses a facsimile Griffey Jr autograph on his 2004 & 2006 cards where he signed his name as George K Griffey Jr. which does look similar to the one on your card so I'm not 100% sure if it's his fathers auto but it looks practically identical to his dad's so. Idk what to think.
I liked the story of the guy who was honest with the seller and got some free subsets for his trouble. Also, someone likely already mentioned this, but I think that Where's Waldo item is the NES video game in the box, not the book. Video game grading is definitely a thing these days, although I didn't realize CGC was doing it (although it makes sense that they are).
Great as usual Chris. I have heard that the sellers who list supposedly error cards for a large amount are actually either laundering money or actually selling this card for something totally different off site.
You just brought up in your comments a great idea that would be great for all collectors and get your research dept. off their cans! You should do a special on those error cards that collectors are actually interested in. There are 100’s of errors in the 1981 Donruss baseball no one cares about but the 3 1980 Topps baseball cards with names in yellow are difficult to find and chased by collectors. It would be interesting and informative!
Garage sales did me good in the late 90s!!!!
Hi Chris. I enjoy the regular rollers too. I would like to see you do a video on the valuble error cards from the 80's and 90's.
Where’s Waldo NES game. Nice
The cards listed on ebay that say "error card" and have unusually high prices have been used as away to launder money. Once you buy the card, that money is now clean, as you can prove where the money came from.
I’m so surprised that the government seizure of counterfeit cards weren’t destroyed. Perhaps the seizure had nothing to do with the counterfeit cards. Interesting. Thanks Chris, always enjoy the show.
Already confirmed you caught the mistake but yes the where’s Waldo is a video game
That football lot with the Namath card also includes a Jack Lambert rookie. Not immensly valuable but absolutely iconic player!
Joe Thomas was in this year’s Hall of Fame class of inductees.
They put a photo of the soon-to-be cards to put on the sale sheet… they probably had the designed ready and you gotta show a “facsimile” autograph just to give the customer an idea of what the cards will look like
Ryan charges 75 to sign and 50 per inscription through his foundation, so that person had 225 into signatures alone and most likely paid around 20 to have the Trading Card designation (about twice that to have the card authenticated as well), so this person clearly lost on all levels.
I love to roll regular! ❤️
The Jordan RC fakes are interesting. Always smart to route the number through the grading service to find a match, good idea. Also, look at the centering on the non-auto Jordan. It’s literally 50/50/50/50 perfect, which can technically happen but should make anyone suspicious. If I had a goal to make fake Jordan’s, the first thing I would do is make them slightly off-centered.
~like a fine Swiss time piece, Chris.
run into scammers listing 1993 stadium topps baseball as first day with no stamp.
I like fakes talk. So thank you. 👍
It’s possible the Griffey Exquisite Kicks card includes a real relic but a facsimile auto (as just part of the card design). And often, facsimile autos tend not to look like the real auto for whatever reason. Just a weird guess. But I’ve seen weirder things.
I bought a 2022 Score Ahmad Gardner /150 misprint last year. I look at it more like an ‘unintended parallel’ since everything about the card is normal except it’s silver and #’d to 150. Neither of which were used/issued with the base cards. PSA said I had to find evidence of Panini recognizing the error and submit to their research team so they can confirm it. Guess the card itself isn’t proof haha
The Where’s Waldo is a graded complete in box Nintendo game not a book by the way.
Ah I totally missed that!
People do not get that uncorrected errors are nowhere near as valuable as corrected ones
I don't think I would have gone for that Jurgensen, even for five bucks. It's too severely miscut for me. 80/20 would be okay, but that was like 110/-10.
same thought I had, I prob woulnt even get it for $2 at a show. Vintage football isnt the same as baseball also. I bet most football card collectors today dont even know who Bart Starr was, nevermind Jurgenson.
@@t206kid I have a few Jurgensens, but not the rc - and I'm working on that 58 set, so I'll find one at some point in the $25-50 range.
The funny thing about that football lot is almost every single player is a hall of famer. Imagine if that lot were baseball. 😂 The funny thing is the most valuable card Joe Namath probably doesn't deserve to be in the HOF. In baseball he'd never even sniff the hall of fame.
No company ever got that Uribe guys birth date correct..... think I have one of his donruss cards birth date , middle name, dots, only a good PC card.
Joe Thomas is NOT a future hall of famer…. He is IN!!!
whats the best box of basketball product we can buy from walmart? And should we break it and see whats in there or leave it sealed for future sale
I know it's a pain breaking and selling a big collection one card at a time. But I never see sellers making more by selling in Lots, especially larger ones. The buyers always seem to win on lot auctions.
As a collector I always cringe when I see newbs like the Lemiuex rookie guy that leave cards in holders with the corners still peeled over....great story on the Jurgenson.
This scam is happening on Mercari now too where they put dumb errors in the title that are not real then charge $150+ for a $1 card.
RR > HR
Wanna talk about Nolan Ryan stuff
Please it's real important
I am a serious investor and I mean a bigger investor than say a 200 dollar card that could be a 1k card
I edited cause I sent the 1st 1 think oh he'll hit me back like it was a text message..but I have money like 175k that I can invest in a serious idea I live in Maryland have my whole life let's talk...I think you'll like what im sayin
Maybe do a segment on what are the error cards that have value?
ua-cam.com/video/6m1MzuaIU0g/v-deo.htmlsi=ZbDCaE4iDR5nTEeC
Chris did that already - search it up on his channel.
Joe Thomas is a Hall of Famer. Also, the quad auto of the MLB wins leaders isn't as hard as one would think. Carlton, Palmer, and Leonard sign for large, moderate and small fees and Goltz is free.
I have it signed by Goltz, Leonard and Palmer but I just can’t justify spending $40 for Carlton
@@nerdpocketcards yeah, I did a double of Sonny Siebert, and Sam McDowell, and a quad of a football leader that all four were free. I just cannot do over ten bucks for an auto. Totally agree with you on that matter.
😅Second..
Lol the Jordan slabs are 100% fake, they don’t even say PSA. They’re those cheap ones to mimic PSA slabs that they sell on eBay.
First again how about that!
WRONG..
joelb.2685 with the photo finish
Nice 🎉

The main "error" here is the one made by the scammer. Most shady, unscrupulous, low-life, bottom-feeding, knuckle-scraping, unethical, immoral scam artists...
...try to pull this stunt with a 1990 Fleer Uribe.
Disappointed in all the fraud, fake, counterfeit, listing shysters, reprint sneaks, etc...involved in the hobby.
Gma is legit and can catch fakes. If you are unsure it's best to say nothing. There are reasons to break it out of a gma slab but that isn't one of them. Psa and Beckett also have a long history of grading fakes.
Thanks for the videos! And remember to eat your vegetable!! 🥬🥔🥦🥕👍
I really needed this!!!! 🫠🫡
