Thank you Pastor Campetella for this Word of Knowledge about the dangers of compromising with the world! You are totally correct in that very few pulpits are open to what you have said.

A few episodes back you said a statement so quick in passing joking around about breaking your fast, but If you weren’t listening you missed hearing it. “Appetite is the greatest seasoning” - after listening to these broadcasts multiple times per episode, it is truly incredible how more and more revelation just keeps screaming out when you’re hungry for it. It’s as if Jesus holds back the additional layers until you’re ready for it and prove you are really wanting it. Thank you for standing firm on these very heavy topics!

I so enjoy your Christian Life Broadcasts. This one really opened my eyes and leaves no doubts… We visited CLC the month of February - from Evansville IN. So thankful for a truth-filled, one God, Bible believing, tongue-talking, aisle-running church to attend while were in Florida. Lord Bless you and your church!!

Very good teaching! So thankful for this podcast and the truth that it shares. Tremendous content! You’re so right! So many have compromised the Gospel as well as holiness. It’s a shames because that strong delusion from God has made so many people think what they are doing is okay. God bless you sir! Can’t wait for future episodes!

So now having a beard is equivalent to homosexuality did I actually hear that how was King David or Ezra or David's men or Ezekiel are you trying to say that they were like homosexuals for having a beard this is what one must do to defend a man-made Pentecostal teaching that is not in the Bible many forget that the founding fathers of the Pentecostal Church had beards very manipulative

I attended a secular academic conference at Cambridge (UK) whose whole purpose was to discuss the significance of hair in religion during Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. There were a few things here that contradict the research those scholars of history presented. I am not sure what recourses were used for this video, but they may be faulty or outdated. For one, women have been cutting their hair before the twentieth century. (Which I do agree we as Apostolics should not do).
I noticed you didn't mention Leviticus 19:27. Curious what your thoughts on that are.

I love this podcast! I'm always so inspired! You make a good point about Jesus not having a beard, I will never look at that verse in Isaiah the same. However, have you seen what they depict Nero to look like? An awful lot like they depicted Jesus in that SAME time period. I personally don't wear a beard more because of offense to the brethren. However, I don't believe it's fair to compare issues that scripture specifically comes against such as cutting of the hair or watching TV and movies (taking pleasure in sin) to something that is never even hinted to be a sin in the entire bible. To say that beards are a compromise seems unfair and maybe inaccurate. Now many people who grow up in churches that preach against beards grow them out of rebellion(to him it is sin). I believe the church should be counter culture and I love the old paths. But what about the old powerful men of God who had beards before the sixties and after? What about when the culture says to be clean cut? Are we not almost there now? Just some thoughts. Overall very good! Thank you for the work you do! @christianlifebroadcast

    Brother,
I have loved your videos and enjoyed these podcasts. I have to say though, that to watch you twist logic to fit a personal narative is disappointing. First you appealed to the Masoretic text to solidify the trustworthiness of Scripture, then when that doesn't fit, you switch to the LXX and claim the Apostles all quoted from that version(which is false) so it must be accurate. Either God preserved his word or he didn't. To switch Bibles because it pacifies ones perspective is a dangerous practice.
I 100% believe in holiness and seperation from the world. It is an absolute must. A beard is not holiness, but pride certainly is. Just refer to the elders that predated 1960, and usher in the outpouring of the Holy Ghost at the turn of the century. Many of them had beards or facial hair.
The Bible does not have a clear statement that Jesus did or didn't have a beard. It doesn't tell us the colour of his skin, the colour of his eyes, or how big his ears were. Because it doesn't matter either way. We can know that he didnt have long hair, because the Bible clearly states that is a shame for a man, but it doesn't say anything about a beard.
Let's stay in the book. The right book.
    God Bless

@@anthony10012 You weren’t to have a TV outright. It being a screen rather than worldly entertainment wasn’t even on the table. The understanding that TV can serve a secondary and positive function is a development influenced by what the elders of the UPCi called worldliness. The host here said it best “we’ve changed.”

    • @anthony10012
      @anthony10012 2 місяці тому

@@BryanHeardAt the time of Billy Cole’s prominence, a tv was used for one purpose, entertainment. In this setting, an LCD panel is being used to display a graphic. The UPC has changed, yes, but the fact that he has a “big screen tv” behind him, has more to do with the development of technology than it does the development of church. All due respect, you are trying to point out an irony that is not there.

Jesus definitely has a beard, and will for eternity, just like His Father.
He had long hair down to His shoulders, not longer. Jesus did not take a Nazarite vow.
A Nazarite vow was only valid for 1 year and at the end your had to have the priest shave all your hair off.
We have no record that Jesus did this sitting His roughly 8-10 year ministry.
The maximum allowed length of a Hebrew man's hair is the shoulder. No longer. Typically they would grab the back of the hair in a bob if you like, and snipped off that bob. What was left was around shoulder length.
God is very clear that His sons must have beards and must not shape them in any way. You may only adjust the length, you may not shave off the hair on your neck as is so common.
As for icons, you cannot trust them, they are fraudulent and break the 2nd commandment.
There is an icon the orthodox church has which they claim if the very first icon, painted of Mary, by Mark.
But if you look at it you'll find that, that is style of painting did not exist anywhere prior to 500AD.... It was a style not known of and only invented in 500AD. So the orthodox believe a lie..
And that applies to all their icons, their martyr stories and traditions.
I know because I was orthodox for 14 years. Thank God I'm now Torah obedient and following the true path of Christ.

Most Pentecostal (not fake Charismatic) I have ever heard and we do not believe in having any images of Jesus in the church or home…but we go by what scripture says not artwork. Jesus had a beard is 100 % biblical and he did not wear jeans or skinny leg pants.

As a Jew, Jesus probably had dark, wavy hair that was shoulder length. His skin color was probably brown or bronze and not white with blue eyes. He had a beard because scripture clearly says so.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Raised in Egypt for a while then Nazareth. Did he have a Nazarite vow? No.
    He drank wine 🍷.

Plenty of men in the bible had beards Aaron king David Ezraa etc I'm from a oneness background and its foolish that churches spend energy on this topic because it's not a sin to have them church culture says it is but not God there were so many more important things that need to be focused on than something small like beards and I disagree with the brother it literally says who plucked out the hair im sure that means beard but people will say and ive heard it 3 day stubble which is unbiblical
