The rest of the tree is still there! Go Find It! 😍🌈🪵⚒️
The colours of that tree, what a fantastic find. Would love to see some of it slabbed and polished 👍💞💞💞
I've got some pretty good-sized trunks on my property but they're mostly blond and featureless. That stuff's got some really nice color!
Way cool. Went out last weekend and found some good pieces of blue forest.
You experance some of the coolest things. thank you for sharing with us
Great video guys!! Thanks for sharing!!
Along the Columbia River in Eastern Washington stands a solo petrified tree. It's high above the river and down from the top of the basalt cliff about midway. It was there in the prehistory of local Native Americans. It is even mentioned in the Journal of Lewis and Clark as they passed by it on their way to the Pacific Ocean. I believe it's a Ginko tree. There is a nearby Ginko Tree petrified forest.
Nice find! Love your dog.
Beautiful pet! Nice find.
I am so excited to get out there this year , once I finish that April dig at Haunted Ridge I am on the road out west and Dobell is my first stop .... maybe second depends on if I decide to get Pecos diamonds lol
What a beautiful dog!
My heart breaks at the opportunity to have seen this thing uncovered and know if it was a full tree or not! Petrified wood is uncommon enough, but complete trees are even more rare. It could have been incredible if the rest is still there.
awesome video, guys!
I hope to get to dig with you in Arkansas sometime! I'm about 45 minutes from crystal vista, wegner, avatar, etc. so I make it over there all the time, just as a hobby rockhounder.
Thanks for the content! I hope you find the piece that BLOWS your minds, and safe travels!
Great find you two. Frank is a digging machine. 👌
I never had much interest in petrified wood but after watching your vids, if I ever find what I think I would like, it would be a nice addition to my apt. On to your next vid
I think petrified wood is beautiful because it once was a living tree and now it's stone... Its so versatile because I saw where this guy in Arizona or maybe it was in Nevada would take large petrified tree trunks and make beautiful tables.
Most of the logs in Virgin Valley too have broken some in the millions of years before being rediscovered/weathered out. I hate it when they go straight in and get bigger..
Beautiful Woods! If your ever up in Cda, I’d or Spokane, Wa area, give a shout and could maybe take you guys to some cool spots.
Thank you both for inspiring and sharing your adventures!
Much Love
