Exellent content, and lots of great attractions we hadn't even come across on our searches! Looking forward to savouring Nicaragua for 3 weeks in October🙂
@@ScottAlanMillerVlog maybe you already have a video on this but does a gringo like me need to be extra cautious of not eating salads and drinking things with ice in it as they warn you about while in Mexico? I have a strong stomach but only being there 7 days I don't want to get sick for being adventurous with street vendors etc.
Hi Scott! Finally booked our Tix to Nicaragua 🎉🎉🎉Wanting to stay in Granada (2-3 days), Laguna de Apoyo (2-3 days) and Ometepe (3days). Can you please tell me the order to visit these 3 places that makes the most sense.:-). flying in and out of MGA. Arriving in the early evening. Also if you have recommendations for accomodations in Granada & Ometepe...and how to get to Ometepe. Did they start running the ferries yet?(2, 50yr adults) Thank you!
You want to put Ometepe in the middle of that. Granada likely at the beginning, then Ometepe, then Apoyo. You could do Apoyo first, and just chill for your first day, then Ometepe and be ready for more adventurous Granada at the end. But definitely Ometepe in the middle for logistical reasons.
As always, this video is great. Very informative. We will arrive june 8 and stay for 3 weeks this time around. Being the rainy season does that itinerary change any? We really do want to make it to Leon as well.
Of the travel guides you have used, which has been most helpful/accurate/insightful? Is there one that is head and shoulders above the rest? Interestingly, and I just confirmed with Lonely Planet, they won't be updating their 2019 edition because they didn't sell enough.
Yeah. The info is ridiculously out of date. Half the places the recommend are gone. The people who wrote it knew very little of the country. It was clearly written by a one week backpacker.
Great video! Question for you. I will be in Nica for 11 days, and want to do Granada and Ometepe for sure. But I also REALLY want to add Leon in there, mostly to do the volcano surfing. Is this doable in roughly 9 days in the country? And if so, what order would you do the three locations in and for how long?
Do you have any thoughts about when the government of Nica will lift vaccine restrictions? Would love to spend time there when the vaccine/testing requirements are no more.

How'd it go? I plan on visiting next January
Hey Scott could you do a video on flying in and out of Managua with pets (dogs and cats)
It's on the list to make!
Thank you for all the great information!
As always the best info that you need, you get it here.
Loved all this info!
Binging your content! Love how much quality info you give out without lots of unnecessary extras!
I appreciate that! Thanks!

Omgosh! So glad I found this video. So much information! We’re coming to Nicaragua in late February. Can’t wait!
That's awesome! I'm glad that you found our little community here and good luck on your upcoming trip to paradise!
Can you recommend a Spanish language school in Granada?
Not in Granada, I'm afraid. I have a personal tutor in Chinandega, though.

I haven't used one in forever. I love the idea but I've yet to find a useful one here.

Not heard any hint of it.
