The only problem is I have S&W 357 Mag Model 60, the end of the cable along with the brush is too long to run through the breech of the barrel, so what is the trick to accomplishing this? Dave
I've got an S&W 296, and I'm trying to follow the same instructions here. My patch seems to fall apart when I pull it through :( I think I might be doing this wrong...
I attempted to clean a S&W 627 .357 Magnum with an OTIS ELITE GUN CLEANING KIT, and I was unable to feed the .35 brush through the barrel. It appears that the inflexible tip assembly + the brush are too long, and they would not clear the breach. Could you please advise?
You run a wet swab thru the cylinders. Is there a need to run the brush and dry swab through them also?? TY
