@@daniellesjoy no problem brother...keep an eye out for wild rabbits, they love to eat the bottom of green giants leaving them bare...i have the same fence up to protect them from all the deer but i just recently had to add 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. galvanized hardware cloth 12 in. from the ground to keep them out...subscribed and good luck

I just planted 75 in that same height range! Can’t believe they’ve grown that much. Did you plant them in spring or fall?

How did the baby trees hold up over winter with the deer? Did it keep them away?

How long do you plan to leave the fence around the trees?

    • @daniellesjoy

I am planning to let them grow a little bit and get the roots in the ground I know that our deer get mighty hungry in the winter so want to make sure that they are protected. If you dont have deer you could skip the fence.

@@daniellesjoy I do have deer but I decided not to plant as many as you did, and they will be easier to protect from deer. Thank you n

@@daniellesjoy so some of these green giants are from the ones you propagated in January?

I had the same question. I was disappointed, hoping these would be the ones they started from cuttings.
