It's realistic and takes real life proportions into factor, but it keeps a mystic lineart style most warrior animators have. How long did each cat take?

No problem! When i first started I found myself referencing others as a style inspiration too so its no bother for me when others want to do the same! And over time, through practice and experimentation you will find your own style, dont worry~

I have tons of tips! But really, practice is THE MOST important when it comes to drawing. First of all, references. Despite what some believe. References are necessary in improving your art. Shading with black is boring! When you shade with black the picture just ends up much more muddy and flat than it could be if you got inventive with your colors! Don't forget to experiment! Weather it be with lineart, colors, background, or different styles, never be afraid to experiment! And most of all, dont forget to have fun! You dont have to draw for anyone except for yourself! If you are drawing to get famous, you will just end up upset and frustrated. So just do stuff you want to do! Anyone can become a fantastic artist. It just takes time! So be patient! I Believe in you! ^^

Hm, I'm not gonna lie, it was mostly anime. Anime is the base of all inspiration. But who drove me to be a more professional artist and try to improve myself was definitely a large group of speedpainters on UA-cam. Finchwing, NinjaSterling, Remarin, And so many more Seeing people work and realize that no matter how impossible every work is, there is always a process of practice, trial and error, and determination to each piece. So yeah. UA-cam and anime are my inspirations

Sometimes when I redraw a character, they look like an entirely different body and it's... a mess. But, people like you inspire me, TYSM for the reply! Most creators are very busy and don't reply to my comments, and I get why. You guys are busy with your personal lives and making content, so thank you for your time.
While I did pirate the software in the beginning of my drawing career, I did go back and pay for it at its official site, www.systemax.jp/en/sai/ Payment for it is only a one time fee of 50, and with that you can have both Sai and Sai 2 forever, even with computer changes. I use it on my admittedly pretty old laptop, it should work on just about any pc. And while I do understand the wanting to pirate programs, I would honestly save that for photoshop products due to their unreasonable monthly fees, not to mention that Sai was made by a single person, who had difficulty in making Sai 2 due to how often Sai 1 was pirated. If you want free art programs that work simularly to Sai then I'd direct you over to Firealpaca and Medibang, both free and have safe downloads on their official websites.

For years everyone tormented him for being useless to the clan, driving him to the point to consider killing himself. The only cat that supported him was his father, and the only reason he decided not to kill himself. He died peacefully in his sleep next to his father, now he lives in starclan, and now is loved by everyone. when he was born his mother gave him the cruel name Blindkit forcing him to live with the name blind forever

While fuzzy cutesy kitties are adorable and all, I'm curious; you mentioned you've grown kind of sick of drawing cats so would it be different if you drew a Sphinx cat? Maybe having to draw and shade just a wrinkly hairless cat would be more interesting?
while I do like drawing cats, Spinx cats included. I just got a bit burnt out, so I've been drawing more humans and landscapes instead. (still drawing cats, just taking a break)
Well it's good to take a break sometimes, especially when we start to lose the spark that lets us create art we the artist personally feels is unique and interesting to draw. Can't wait to see the humans and landscapes to come :D

While fuzzy cutesy kitties are adorable and all, I'm curious; you mentioned you've grown kind of sick of drawing cats so would it be different if you drew a Sphinx cat? Maybe having to draw and shade just a wrinkly hairless cat would be more interesting?
while I do like drawing cats, Spinx cats included. I just got a bit burnt out, so I've been drawing more humans and landscapes instead. (still drawing cats, just taking a break)
Well it's good to take a break sometimes, especially when we start to lose the spark that lets us create art we the artist personally feels is unique and interesting to draw. Can't wait to see the humans and landscapes to come :D
