I just realized that you seem to be testing this in 'flat' desktop mode. So to my surprise, the game's UI seems to adapt fine for 'flat' users? ...I think my machine, while quite old, technically just barely meets the system requirements for that, especially with the ability to downscale textures like that. I should get over my fears of awkwardness and try the game out, I guess. I've installed it before, but been a bit too timid to actually launch it and set up an account, figuring that attempting to run it without VR hardware would be an exercise in frustration. That UI looks really slick, though, if that degree of care has gone into the non-VR UI overall, I guess my concerns were misplaced!
