Howdy, been a bit of a wait but I hope you all enjoy. And thus began the wait for part 3. I'd like to preface I'm not super happy with some areas of this one and intend to make further improvements for the full movie, in addition to the lighting/FX overhaul and extra scenes I was already planning on doing. So whatever you see here will get even better :D
2:07 Theory Time: Assuming that in this universe XP gives you health, given that the boss gained strength from it and Techno revived with it, I theorize that Techno will gain XP next ep with the help of the team and thus become powerful enough to face the boss.
Well, the piglin boss seems to have some sculk augmentations, hence the soul tracking compass, black growths upon absorbing xp and the non-laser based destruction beam it used at the end there. Levels might still have some physical effect on people, but I wouldn't necessarily count on it being the deciding factor. Seemed more like a setup of xp being a thing, giving a reason for why the piglin only absorbed one wither worth of the stuff and probably also showing a contrast between what it does for a normal person vs this mutant monster of a piglin. We'll see.

Seems like a reference to Sad-ist's animation of Dream vs Technoblade, but remixed to fit more with Zilleyon's usual style. There are so many details and references like this scattered throughout, it's amazing to see.
I love that the misplaced torch under Techno’s wither was animated in. It was one of those things that was viewed as a mistake and was therefore left out in many DSMP recaps. But it actually happened so it was a nice detail!
Dream and Technoblade are basically Minecraft versions Deadpool and Wolverine. Besides that, the animation is amazing and a great tribute to our king. Love it 💚💛👑🙂

The transitions between the past and present was so awesome!!! Especially when Technoblade summoned those three withers to attack the big zombie piglin. Tommy get reminded of the difficult times by Techno’s demeanor and weapons was interesting to see too.
