Hello. Thank you for the video. It is very useful. I tried the tutorial, but I run into the "Floating point exception" error when I start the calculation. What could it be about? Thank you 😁
Hello. Thank you for the video. I have a question. At the start of the video it is shown an equivalent fuel/ar ratio of 0.61, but in the video, you don't set any fuel/air ratio. In general, there is no setting regarding the amount of fuel. How does the software understand that the incoming mixture has a fuel/air ratio of 0.61? Thank you.
The final results shown in this tutorial is satisfied convergence criteria, although iteration part skip due to length of the video. Obtained results are validated with Olvason et.al. experimental data. Regards.
how did you define the governing equation for combustion of propane and air suppose if we want to have combustion of air and methane how would you do that
Excellent video. I was able to replicate it. Can you please do a tutorial for combustion using species transport? thanks
Hi sir, I tried this using species transport but the mixture didn t ignite, do you have a suggestion for me please?
I'm having the same issue. Are you using student edition 2023 also?
@@YadaYadaYadaYT yes 2023 student version and other one 2021 with license but the same problem, do you have a suggestion?
Hi, please i have issue with the model/geometry. I am finding it difficult to integrate the bluff body

Excellent tutorial, can we able to do premixed combustion by using species transport available in Ansys
Yes, Species transport is general governing equation for investigate combustion phenomenon.
hello i want to do the hydrogen air premixed combustion so for that i need hydrogen air mixture file so how can i create that??
plz tell me
@EngineeringNature hello sir, i have tried to do simulation using hydrogen-air but it's not working and shows floating point error.
Looking at the residuals, it does not really converge. Or am I wrong, I mean continuity is about e-01, so far from optimal?

you did not define temperature of bluff body

You required similar input data for Methan air premixed combustion
