- The federal government hopes to deliver three kilometres of the Lagos-calabar coastal highway by the end of May,
Speaking at the demolition of shanties attached to Landmark Beach Resort, the minister asked Nigerians to embrace the infrastructure development in various parts of the country.

Fantastic man, no politics and no tribalism.
Great idea but how about first fixing all the existing federal road before constructing new ones. IMO this projects is as irrelevant as Eko Atlantic truly disappointed with this government and their strategy. If they decide to fix all federal roads in the next 4yrs a lot can be achieved . This is a waste of resources.
sadly without shoreline, beaches are useless.

"250 m from the shoreline is government's right of way". I hope they use the same energy to maintain proximity to the coastline when they get to the swamps of the niger delta. Meanwhile, Bonny, a coastal town with tourism potential and the host to NLNG and Oil&Gas export terminals, has no link road yet.
