    This is my third Wing, but my local dealer will not work on anything more than 20 years old, so I am determined to do all the maintenance myself. The Wing needs two new tires and thanks to you, I was able to do the front without cussing once. We’ll have to see how the rear goes.

    Thanks for the Video, very helpful. I have a couple of changes to the procedure. Just need to loosen the bolts on the "Ring of Fire" , no need to completely remove them. To remove the 22mm bolt I needed to hold the axle on the left side with a small rod. I used a screwdriver and let it rest against the fork. Also I only removed the caliper on the left side. Left the right side attached. No need to loosen the right brake caliper. Thanks again for the video

      Thank you Johnny Boy! I do intend do return to UA-cam. Life has taking an ugly turn as it has for most people. I'm digging myself out of this hole, and I'm in the process of moving to a new place with a nice shop were I can do my videos. My last garage was destroyed by a tree and the house was partially flooded. I'm currently working on buying better equipment to make the video quality alot better instead of using my cell phone lol. Again thank you for yours words of encouragement, I need them. Hopefully I plan to return soon, with some new projects and old ones returning.

      @@CliffordRice I'm pretty sure I left a comment a few years ago and said something like, "yep he's dead. Nothing in a year or two." I even google your name in the obits trying to find you, but, alas.. your not dead........yet. I just changed my front and rear tires again for the second time in 2 years and 10,000 miles. Only difference this time is that I saw someone some place unbolting the back compartments with the top bolts loose and swinging the entire trunks up and resting on where the seat would be after you removed that. Wow, what a difference and so much room to get to everything. Guess you can call it a "transformer." Wish I could send you the pictures of it. So funny looking. take care. Glad you alive. 😁😍

    Nice video, I have found on my gl1500 if I spray the plastic tabs on the plastic parts, with silicone spray
    they go back together a lot easier.

    You can remove the front tire with out removing the calliper. Just don't touch the brake levers. It slides right in between the pads

    Which side is the passenger side? He said to put the “R” on the passenger side. Great video and makes it look easy.

    • @CliffordRice
      @CliffordRice  6 років тому

      "R" is for right side, I work on cars a lot more, and i get mixed every now and then. Calling the right side the passenger side
