When guitar demands a price higher than Gibson custom shop. Theirs no real point actively making it for the masses. For many these would be "investment" and unlikely to be played
So I also have a collection of 4 HH custom guitars. Both 7s and both 6s have coil taps. I have ppl argue that if you need a do-it-all, you gotta have a 3 pickup config, HSS if possible. I believe a HH can do it, and got a HH with 5 positions, another with individual switches, the 2 6 strings are a simple coil tap. All of them have been sought after for recordings and live performance. What do you think?
I have push-push pots on my Yamaha Studio Lord LP from the early 80s. I have NEVER understood why guitarists put up with anything else. Going for the "pull" requires pick juggling, and on top hat knobs or standard Strat knobs, the knob slips out of my fingers. I wind up putting after-market knobs on the guitars. Push-push it real good!
I like it. The finish is superb. I would like it even more with a few changes or refinements... 1. Without a doubt, remove that extra detached pick guard piece from the lower part of the cutaway section of the body. The main pick guard piece alone is a nicer curving esthetic look. 2. Make brass all the pickguard screws, input jack screws, tremolo block screws, the 3 knob screws, 3-way switch metal piece and black plastic knob, and the guitar strap buttons. 3. Change out the black plastic on the pickups with some type of laser cut scrolled pattern metal pickup covers. These could be brass, natural metal or black. This would elevate the esthetics of the guitar to not have any black plastic on it at all. 4. Horizontal knurling grooves cut into the thin wider rim of the upper shotgun shell knobs (like when you look at the side of a quarter-dollar coin, but deeper grooves on the knobs than a quarter has) and a criss-cross knurling pattern on its more recessed lower shaft area. For esthetics as well as a better "grip" when turning the knobs.
What a great looking and sounding guitar. Really liked the details (volume knobs) and the brass. Loved the coil splits and wiring. It's easy to see you love it, I think an awful lot of your fans will love it too.

So many tones that my head hurt a bit (in a good way) while watching this..a big +1 on the push-push knobs.. I first learned of those from JP signature models and it just makes a lot sense compared to push-pull.. congrats again!

Hope you sell a ton of 'em, Darrell, good for you!
Congratulations; very exciting. The first glimpse I saw was that roasted maple neck….gorgeous! The overall guitar is beautiful, too. The shotgun shell knobs are cool as hell, too. Wish I knew the price…
the finish looks awesome! It looks like the Pickguard comes off in 2 different pieces, 1 piece for the knobs and switch and then another piece for the pickups

You deserve it so much ❤️ and it’s a masterpiece! Congrats
Congratulations Darrell! What an honour to have your name on a production guitar. You’re now in the same league as Mr Les Paul and Mr Caster.
Oh of course you're referring to the Caster brothers, Mr. Strato and Mr. Tele. Really famous guitarists.
GLORIOUS!!! SO NICE GUYS DON'T FINISH LAST!!! YOU EARNED THIS MAN!!!
May even become a collector's item given your increased following. Congrats to you. Keep up the great work!
Congratulations Darrell...................That's super nice job they did and it's phenominal sounding
This is the most beautiful strat i ever saw...the best pup combo n astherics..
The best taste in a customized guitar ever seen... Everything in perfect place and designe...!!
So many tones that my head hurt a bit (in a good way) while watching this..a big +1 on the push-push knobs.. I first learned of those from JP signature models and it just makes a lot sense compared to push-pull.. congrats again!
Congrats, Darrell! Your name next to those of Sambora, Solieri, Norum...You deserve a big round of applause! Greetings from Italy!
Paoletti Guitars are absolutely beautiful! So thrilled for you that you got to design one with them, Darrell. For those who don't know Paoletti Guitars, read up on them and check out some reviews. You'll see they are very high quality and handmade, so, no, they are not for a lot of people's budgets, but that's to be expected with this level of guitar. Hope you sell a ton of 'em, Darrell, good for you!
That’s so awesome, congratulations Darrell!
Man! What an amazing guitar. Congratulations Darrell. You definitely deserve it and realize covered the basis. It's gorgeous.
Congratulations; very exciting. The first glimpse I saw was that roasted maple neck….gorgeous! The overall guitar is beautiful, too. The shotgun shell knobs are cool as hell, too. Wish I knew the price…
Great tones, would be interesting to know, which amps you use for the different tone-examples.
My 80’s Ibanez Roadstar II has this exact wiring configuration including the push-push…always loved it, but that is a beauty!
Wow - love the finish and the brass - sounds amazing too!
Very impressive. Love the creativity and versatility. Great tones as well! Congrats.
Very excited for you! Congrats!
nice to see you get a signature guitar! love your content!
Paoletti. The most beautiful guitars. And the sound amazing. Beautiful signature. Congratulations.
Some day. Some day!
Love that clean tone and the fire look to the wood!
Congrats, Darrell! Sounds awesome!
Cool Guitar, Checking out the Paoletti site now, now on my future guitar list!
the finish looks awesome! It looks like the Pickguard comes off in 2 different pieces, 1 piece for the knobs and switch and then another piece for the pickups
Congrats Darrell! Sounds and looks amazing.
Great demo on a fantastic instrument.
Congrats brother and thanks for the video.
This is obviously an advertising channel. So he gets paid in guitars for you tube commercials. Makes sense. I applaud you for your effort. You give these unknown guitar makers a platform to showcase their product. Everyone needs to survive. But that is what this channel is and I like it for that. Something different from mainstream reviewers. You do have a good grasp on the issues with head stock design and guitar issues in general. I do enjoy your reviews/commercials of new products.
Darrell congrats! It's so good to see a dedicated person to their craft getting what they deserve, I am so happy for you.
I’m in love with those shotgun shell knobs 😍
