Dose any one know where I can buy these what company has the audio rights this series was the first I read by this alther? A few years later I found more books by them on audible but I can not find the Pyforial Mage audio books anywhere.
This book wasn't very good. The plot is the same as any taboo magic book and the magic its self is underwhelming to the point of being pointless and embarrassing, unless you want fight hobos if not everyone you would actually need to use it on seems to effortlessly throw it off. It took two people using it together to be partly useful and even then it took a third party to finish it shouldn't even be illegal it's that pathetic. The main character is just a disgrace honestly it would have been a better story if it was about his friend. There are dozens of ways this story could have been improved
Joel Exposito good points but one defense about it being illegal, not all Kings and leaders decisions make sense. Decisions made out of unfounded fear based on the possible threat an ability poses. In Kyro, the bow was illegal. In greenhenge(forgot the spelling) psyche was illegal. It all depends on the leaders and leaders don’t always make sense... and making a weapon illegal already doesn’t make sense cus the bad guys will use it anyway whereas the majority of the law abiding citizens will be weaponless or have one less ability to defend

Sadly the reader was so fast that I couldn't follow the story and gave up.
At the bottom right cornor (settings gear) you can change the playback speed to 0.75.

lousy read, wrong inflections
