I loved watching & listening to Howard. Did a comedy critique about him in High School!
The verbal dexterity of Cosell vs the sports gurus of today. No contest, guys like Kellerman and Smith lack the Gravitas, then again I was exposed to these great personas like Cosell early in my life.
As I start watching this, my main thought is - "This should be GOOD..."
Geraldo had a solid career but he could hv had a legendary career

Howard s intellect towers over Stephen A s ...however SAS is more connected w athletes and the African American experience and when ur coving modern Hoops n NFL football gives him a distinct advantage, and then SAS discusses boxing like he s an officianado...oops
Howard would have had a rough time verbally w William F Buckley ..an intellect at a much different level than the people Howard ‘handles’ in the sports world

Many people get fired from their jobs these days--without due process.I wonder if Howard would argue against people like Roseanne losing her job without due process--or others fired for giving opinions about race or immigration.
Geraldo was a lot better when he was younger . He got so arrogant as he got older.
