W22 final boss attack approach, Mr Autofire

This is how I avoid the melee attacks and purple star projectiles. By mirroring the bosses movement below it appears to prevent him from shooting at you. And if he does, have him shoot into the floor to prevent the purple stars from forming. See thumbnail image.
