syrsoN is one of the most constant AWPers in the history of this game. I think under people who follow CS:GO since release, he is not underrated - but yeah, for the mainstream he def. is flying under the radar. Several teams were interested in signing him, but he stayed where he felt home - at BIG. And I think that's what cadiaN meant with BIG becoming better without syrsoN... he always has been very introverted, didn't want to give interviews etc. - that's why he never played at full potential on LANs. When BIG won the Roobet Cup in 2022, they (and esp. syrsoN) showed what they can do, but sadly it never worked at Majors.

He's not underrated, he's overrated. top 10 HLTV in 2020 and you'd think he'd get better. I get that LAN nerves can get to you but you've had a year to overcome it and you should be getting better. Also, some of the shots he misses on LAN is inexcusable. I've been giving him the benefit of the doubt for the last year, just like I did with Gambit/Coud9 but he has not been remotely close to what he is online.
I can't blame him. He seems to be quite an introvert, so it's probably not easy at all for him to play in front of a huge crowd.
