Hyper-lethal bro. Only other person who had this was 6, from Noble 6. (I honestly cant remember if he had another name.) Nice way to move on from Guardians, tie all the loose ends and begin a new story instead. I can't say I was expecting Cortana would actually die this time, but it's good to see she has a worthy successor.
Yup. Perfectly summed it up. It's a game so close to being perfect. It just needed a big setpiece a la Halo 2 where Chief returned the covenant their bomb or Halo 3 with the epic warthog run, also wished this was nextgen exclusive it would have looked so much better visually, wished we had more biomes and diversity but other than that honestly this is the best they could have handled the mess of Halo 5. Cortana dies respectfully, we still get our baby Cortana back (that's what she is, Cortana in her infancy) and we're back to the good stuff of Halo 1-2-3 away from the awful Prometheans and back to basics. Overall really happy.
I just felt like there are too many things that happened off-screen, even Cortana's death (if it actually was). Cortana and Chief didn't even get to see each other face-to-face, it was just some form of recording. I love the gameplay and PvE aspects but the narrative kinda felt all over the place.
I predicted that the Weapon was dead the whole time and Cortana was impersonating her to take advantage of the conflict at hand. However, I was only half-right about it.
I like the story, it feels more grounded. It's a post-Covenant world, a post-Flood world, and the war for humanity's survival, such as it is, is over. And it really feels like the world reflects that now; it's a small band of UNSC fighters against a Brute warlord and his ragtag band of brigands.
To me, the part at 2:57:07 where Chief says "No, Not really" to the Weapon's question shows him claiming his humanity the most. He isn't afraid to show just how much it hurts, and scares him, to face the death of Cortana.
And also at 2:36:21 when weapon ask him how can Chief trust her and Chief says “I don’t. But I want to”. It shows that even though it isn’t the same Cortana, he doesn’t want to give up on his friend. No matter how bad Cortana hurt Chief
343 finally did what they've tried to do with Chief from 4. This is absolutely the best version of his character since the original trilogy. He's defeated, but it feels like it fits what came before.

Not going to lie, this game made me really sad. As a hardcore fan who's read all the books, watched all the movies, and has an intimate relationship with the lore it made me really sad to hear and see the events and "whispers" that Cortana left behind. I understood everything as if I was in Chief's shoes. His entire life has been full of depressing events, yet losing Cortana was just the icing on the cake. He really is a machine to go through what he has gone through but I'm really glad that this Weapon seems to be a worthy successor to Cortana, especially since she isn't the same but kind of is.
Watching this after completing it. Was so satisfying experiencing the entire game from beginning to end. Glad this made an incredible jump from Halo 5's campaign.
Halo 2 does have the best story, but Infinite definitely has the best narritive. Also, not enough people are talking about how cool it is that the game starts exactly where Halo 5 ended.
Dayum... am I glad to see this one! So many fans were less than appreciate in what was done in Halo-5, and Infinite come forth and break through against all odds! I would definitely pick up Halo-Verse again...
1:46:20 master chief giving wisdom as a human ..for the first time ever cause most of the time he has been emotionless and just killing going to missions after mission and that’s one thing cortana pointed out to him ..to be more human .
I watched this after watching God of War, the drop off was ridiculous lol, you can tell 343 inherited Halo, they can't tell a story to save their lives. The story was basically exposition lmfao. We played exposition, it was Halo: Exposition.
The Heroic ending makes it look like this truly is closer to the conclusion of John 117s story. The musical... motifs? the exploration of the Weapon, Escharum, Atriox, Chief and the Harbingers' characters, the Endless, the lost battle of the UNSC... its like we are close to being prepared for one, or more than one, huge final fight, to a sacrifice or a victory.
Halo has the best storyline among all fiction. I love it to the core. I enjoy GLP channel because the videos preent that story quite nicely embedded within the game. There were some loose ends. Some suddenness to all this...Cortana's sacrifice, the banished destroying infinity, the Harbinger etc etc.....but what a lovable mature story. It's been what....11 years since the first halo game. What an evolution!!!! This is the one I love it with all heart apart from Death Note. Kudos GLP
There are only several things we are missing for both the campaign and the multiplayer in this game: - Bringing back the Arbiter - Captain Cutter and Spirit of Fire - Thomas Lasky and the remaining crew of UNSC Infinity - Shipmaster Rtas Vadum - Human- Sangheili alliance - Surrounded mysteries of ForeRunners - What happened to Atriox after the opening? How did he survive his planet's destruction? - Master Chief's Blue Teammates like Kelly and Fred - Playing as Elite in Multiplayer - Forge mode - Firefight mode -Co-op mode
Why are you asking for the Shipmaster Rtas Vadum? He fulfilled his role at the end of Halo 3, was never meant to be an important character and there is no any reason to see him again
Awesome job. Can't wait to play the game myself. Just curious do you plan on making a new complete Halo Saga video incorporating everything from Infinite?

Fun fact: this is the same VA as one of the main companions in Forza Horizon 5. That character is also a pilot, and works by delivering vehicles in his plane

Ahhh, I’m so happy you made one of these for the new game so fast. I tried watching someone’s else’s (I accidentally clicked I actually thought it was yours) and there’s just a certain touch to your videos. The way you’ll do the audio logs, pan around rooms so we can see, the editing is great. Yours are the longest videos on UA-cam I watch…by a few hours. Lol

Well since campaign release infinite is a 10-year plan so like you said most likely story dlc in the future. Microsoft already trademarked a new halo game already yesterday.
Microsoft recently trademarked Halo: The Endless
If u have played the campaign yk who the endless r
So a new dlc is prolly coming next year or 2023
@@syedabdulrauf4545 who are the endless?
@@mattb7450 the species that the harbinger or atriox at the end released
@@mattb7450 they’re an ancient species who were able to avoid being destroyed by the Halo arrays when the Forerunners fired them. What I wanna know is if they can be infected by the Flood??
29:00 “This isn’t the mission.”
“I am altering the mission, pray I don’t alter it any further.” 😎
I am so excited! I have most of the books and watch all the game movies(I am not game oriented), the stories are well crafted and wonderful. Thank you so much for this you did an amazing job as always!
I've been looking forward to this amazing job as always.
As everyone leaves the halo Fandom after this dumpster fire campaign and game
That swing of the gravity hammer was personal lol 1:09:30
Chief would be the best therapist the way he’s able to calm people down and help them through tough times
Nice... Thanks for the game movie
1:46:20 master chief giving wisdom as a human ..for the first time ever cause most of the time he has been emotionless and just killing going to missions after mission and that’s one thing cortana pointed out to him ..to be more human .
That additional gravity hammer smack on Bassus was greatly appreciated
I watched this after watching God of War, the drop off was ridiculous lol, you can tell 343 inherited Halo, they can't tell a story to save their lives. The story was basically exposition lmfao. We played exposition, it was Halo: Exposition.
As a huge fan of God of War, I love the storytelling of Infinite. It's definitely my favorite story after Halo 2.
Most of my gaming experiencing is watching this channel, Spartans never die!
I hope so, maybe bring Jerome in as the new protagonist. I imagine he is much younger.
@@lucassmith3790 He isn't. Both of them are Spartan IIs from the same age group
they really gotta learn to tie things down in that Pelican so shit don't fly out every time they open the door
“Hold position. I got this.” Classic master chief
Kudos GLP
Seriously? Literally nothing happens in this campaign.
Umm, it’s been 20 years since the first Halo game.
@@mariokx250 honest mistake. You are right!
@@TheAeroAvatar Lots happens.
@@HD_Simplicityy from what I watched online, not true.
There are only several things we are missing for both the campaign and the multiplayer in this game:
- Bringing back the Arbiter
- Captain Cutter and Spirit of Fire
- Thomas Lasky and the remaining crew of UNSC Infinity
- Shipmaster Rtas Vadum
- Human- Sangheili alliance
- Surrounded mysteries of ForeRunners
- What happened to Atriox after the opening? How did he survive his planet's destruction?
- Master Chief's Blue Teammates like Kelly and Fred
- Playing as Elite in Multiplayer
- Forge mode
- Firefight mode
-Co-op mode
Bruh i legit thought that SoF will appear at the end.
Why are you asking for the Shipmaster Rtas Vadum? He fulfilled his role at the end of Halo 3, was never meant to be an important character and there is no any reason to see him again
33:14
This was Heavy. I can almost feel the tears in his eyes behind the helmet
Awesome job. Can't wait to play the game myself. Just curious do you plan on making a new complete Halo Saga video incorporating everything from Infinite?
It's on game pass
I already have the game just havent had any time to play it just yet.
Fernando Esparza aka the Pilot is the most relatable character in this game.
This game truly did master chief justice as a character... I love it...
I'm kind of sad that they worked Sam-034 into the plot, but when the Weapon asks Chief if he has any family he doesn't mention Blue Team at all.
56:00 LMAO homie kicked the air and was like "This is going to do some damage"
This game deserves more than two DLCs.
The fact that the opening of the game had the Chief get his ass kicked by Atriox, and make it work for motivation, is pretty impressive in itself.
The literally copy pasta bungies destiny 2 red war original campaign even the trapping handcuffing and torturing a important figure and the boss looked like ghaul too
"I Don't have a choice, maybe its *my* programming*
Holy fuck man, i have this kinda arguement inside me at all times bro
25% of the dialogue in this game is “what’s that? I don’t know”.
Another 25% is “Why? I don’t know”
Another 25% is “there are Banished everywhere”
And the last 25% is just commenting on where is the next button to push.
9:25 Had no idea Octane was in Halo?
Awesome but also weird to hear him as he sounds just like Octane charector wise.
Fun fact: this is the same VA as one of the main companions in Forza Horizon 5. That character is also a pilot, and works by delivering vehicles in his plane
Okay, laughed out loud when you tried to toss the battery at the bridge controls 😂
from what Video games taught me, "TAG DESIGNATION: FRIENDLY" could be a trap, we've all seen enemies using friendly forces equipment to lure more of the forces and/or generals to slaughter.
I've watched a few other chanels to see infinity. Hands down I should have been patient for Gamers Little Playground, always the best.
Thank you. We appreciate the love. 😀
@@glp thanks as always Spartan. Got a question though, how come u cut the last words off at the end
I can’t afford an Xbox and haven’t since the 360 era. So watching on your channel watching my childhood through these is the next best thing to playing them. One day I’ll get an Xbox and get to play the best fps saga I ever experienced.
If you can afford a good PC, good news: Halo Infinite (And remastered versions of all Halos between 1-4 including ODST and Reach) are available on PC.
Couple months ago I finally was able to get an Xbox and been playing halo nonstop during my free time
2:03:23 When the Chief fails to delete Weapon it I can feel him thinking "Well, shit."
1:47:30 I appreciate the Destiny bugle in this scene. Good homage to Bungie.
I come back here from time to time to “watch” this because infinite is in my opinion a damn good campaign and will let this play in the background while I’m cooking or something, and the little details in this game, like at 2:32 when the pilot struggles to open the one door, is still only one door open at 7:00 but big daddy just pushes it aside like its a screen door on a back porch
Can’t get over the fact that the battle rifle, when fired rapidly, it sounds like a fast-paced cumbia
I'm not yet sold on the Banished.
But, man, oh fucking man, the sense of raw, physical weight Atriox gives to the Chief just feels right.
They were pretty badass in Halo Wars 2 which is where they were first introduced
Isn't there one sentence missing at the end of the legendary ending scene? It's such a big reveal too
Finally, he got friend along the journey.. no more grumpy chief
Lol
Thanks guys another great game movie, enjoyed it a lot...!!!
chief and halo are back! i have a crush on new cortana
The Game Studios were right! Halo will last for another few decades!!
The Star Trek and Star Wars of Game Consoles
Fernando is one of the best additions to halo story in a long time
Great job on the editing.
I think master chief will have his own dedicated pilot from now on if he allows it.
2:16:00 I love it.
Weapon: He was going to kill me!
Brohammer: really Chief?
Master Chief:
Weapon: He doesn't talk much. He's what you might call a man of action.
Master Chief:
Weapon: Especially when it comes to killing things!
Master Chief: (immediately kills two things)
49:15 the theme song still gives me goosebumps
After Halo 5 they definetly redeemed themself with this story
Thanks for another awesome video!
There's a lady in my head who calls me stud muffin
Nice video. Lots of sweet kills
Batman be doing [1:20] to mfkas and still has the audacity to say: "now talk!!👿😤"
Omg I freaking the love the beginning intro of the game😩😬 and holy crap literally gave me the chills. However this literally just touched me 3:11 🥲🥲. Yes I finished the game on twice😎👏.
Thanks, nicely done
3:07:31 Brooooo that music drop was AWESOME!!!!
23:52 "what? insubordination? hiya!" -Sarge
I love that 343 is basically apologizing to us fans through Cortana's speech at the end. Well done 343 Industries. Thank you for listening, and as Cortana has said "to make amends" for your choices in the last 2 games
Killing cortana off was lore accurate, yall just need to get over it. She died,, because of that chief had character development.
Anyone else get stargate vibes when looking at those ancient looking rings on the halo
Too bad they can't just dial home.
1:32:18- When you hear "Whoop Whoop, Pull up!," that is a real warning alarm made on all Boeing aircraft when the plane is too low to the ground.. Just FYI.
That is cool, albeit and uneccesary detail given its 500 years in the future.
How I missed Master Chief's badass one liners
oh man! 1080! you got a Like in the first 20 seconds!
Nicely done Thanks
If you're from future? Then Please read this, i can't I CAN'T explain how happy and sad i am right now! Special thanks to Gamers Little playground that let us enjoy the most beautiful mankind's achievement. I'm really sad that it ended, but i guess *it's just getting started* you, you out there reading this, i love you for playing, or watching this beautiful game! I couldn't wait to finish it all ever since i watched Halo 1! And i did it in less than a week! Because i love this game...
And Master Chief,
*The Man of Action*
He'll be my one and only favorite video game character
1:30:50 why do I feel like Lamar Hall is about to make his presence known?
