You ever heard of "matched betting" - betting on 2 different websites and taking the bonus sign up money winnings? You lose no money, get a fraction of the sign up bonus, and you are done. On to the next website. That's how you beat online bookies, make a couple of hundred pounds and dip. Easy money as a uni student.
It only takes the first 2/3 bets on a new bookies account for them to realise you know what you are doing, your max bet is then restricted to £0.20 (they don’t close your account as they hope you will lose all your money on their casino) stuff like this works in theory but good luck trying to pulling it off.
It worked here, but imagine the level of commitment you’d need to be successful. The guy even said how much he spends in expenses just travelling round trying to find the right game/umpire.
I never realised tennis umpires press buttons and control the scoreboard themselves. Because say in snooker, the referee just calls the score and there must be someone at the side pressing the buttons on the computer. I thought tennis would be the same lol
many years ago, got my bets delayed by a betting company as they were probably suspicious ......so my betting time went from 3 seconds to 15 seconds !!! I jumped from £250 to nearly £4000 within 2 months ! all i was doing was watching football games live and bet when I felt a goal would more likely to happen. Some of my bets got right sometimes within 1 or 2 seconds of my bet. I was not doing anything wrong but because i was a winner they wanted to cheat me !!! I made one complaint to them about one bet they canceled then they suspended my account !!! small betting companies are cheating their clients !!! but they are very happy to take from big losers !!! of course gambling commissions are closing the blind eye on what is happening !!!
People saying he ruined it because he's telling the BBC really are just idiots, clearly the guy wasn't the first to do this and its pretty obvious that the betting sites know about it but there's literally nothing they can do to stop him. He says he's accounts get banned because of him cheating and he just buys new ones so it doesn't matter if they know he's doing it.
It's a bit different if you've got a significant advantage over the house, and in this case, the risk is either winning the money or having the bet cancelled. You can't lose unless there was a mess up in communication.
I assume they had this set up for publication, but waited until the bookies realized the loophole and fixed it, and then published it(after a huge profit).
They’ve know about it for a long time the profit they make from point betting outweighs the money they lose. But with more people knowing about it profit will certainty go down but they will still be in the Ups from point betting
In theory bookmakers are really just making transaction fees like any broker would by finding sufficient counterparties at sufficient odds to offset any bets. This is needed because the probabilities of the outcomes is unknown to the bookmaker or the parties ahead of time therefore the bookmaker has to offset the risk of taking anyone's bet. A casino on the other hand knows the odds of every game and payouts so they simply tax the outcomes to ensure the game is slightly less than fair to the players. The best example of this being roulette since red or black double your money but have slightly less than 50% chance to occur due to the 00s. That difference in payout vs probability results in the haircut to the casino.
I'd like to hear a decent explanation of why Betfair leave (non-VAR) games suspended so long after a goal is scored. There have been a bunch of Leeds games this season where they've supsended it for 4 minutes !
I love the guy who beats the bookies..i have lost everthing due to gambling for a decent existence 😢...too many adverts and vulnerable people with not enough money to get by doing it to get by and losing everything ..
im pretty sure when it comes to cashing out, these bookies will just hold the winnings..... theyll have flags set up, like when youre betting late and winning on 20 consecutive server win points 🤷🏾♂️ i worked in the gaming industry for a long time and they dont like paying out 😂
@@vendettarisingthats why he likely mentioned massive costs. They likely have to pepper heaps of bets around "fairly" on other points to and lose some on that edge. Then also likely set up new accounts ti be cashed out to. You're right, betting companies will look for any clause to not pay out.
The term for this old school technique is called "Front Running". Since the early 1900 in the shares stocks market. Today it still happens with big trading exchanges, digitally in milli-seconds up to nano-seconds.
@@detailingshorts885 It can be that easy but there is still a risk no matter how much he claims there isn't. It was done in Roman times at chariot races, they brought swallows to the venue and tied a ribbon on their feet, blue or red for whichever chariot won, the swallow appeared back before the result of the race was brought back on horseback
A little surprised about the number of comments blaming this guy for “letting the secret out”. I feel like this is the most obvious way to cheat bookies that comes to everyone’s mind when they start betting.
I work in the gambling industry and this does not cost bookmakers millions at all, anyone placing any kind of high stakes bet or any bet out of the ordinary would be flagged, have the bet cancelled and then be heavily restricted with an increased in-play delay for placing bets or maybe even banned altogether. Courtsiding and slow counting bets are easily identified
Explain how thousands of people make money doing matches betting then. They have no legal right to “cancel” a bet. They can’t just steal money in someone’s account. He probably uses a different account each time. Cashes out immediately. There are dozens of different sites and you can pay people for new accounts easily. Scramble IP. Do you think the guy is lying?
@@allanplutus3408 "instead of having to travel all over the world" you really think travelling around the world while making insane money is really that bad thing ?

So am I getting this right? Courtside guy first guesses who's going to win the point before the serve has started. Laptop guy readies the bet but doesn't click. If the courtside guy is right, he tells the caller on the laptop "yes" and the bet is placed before the results are registered with the bookies (or when the website is updated). If he's wrong he says "no" to the laptop guy and the bet doesn't get placed.
No. Courtside guy says to always have server up for ease of time. because every point it's the other guy serving. Easier to say ''server'' to the guy making the bet, than ''abrovichiniskiovgodski''. ''Server'' is easier and quicker. If server wins the point ''yes''. if server doesnt ''no''. so you were very close.

I know someone who prices tennis matches for a bookie, sometimes he will say when you will get 2 different bookies giving 'no lose' odds... basic example - one bookie favours one player at 3/1 and the other bookie favours the other player at 3/1 (usually not top level players), £100 put on both players via the bookie they are favoured by returns £400... It won't be as simple as both players being the same odds, that's just an example, but stuff like this crops up all the time... It would be good to have software that can access multiple bookie accounts and auto place bets for you when this occurs, you could just have your bank balance increase without having to even lift a finger! Plus, you'd be unlikely to be suspected or banned by any bookie, as you'd generally be winning and losing with each bookie like any other player, the only difference being that every one of your joint bets are guaranteed to win a profit overall with one of the bookies!
This is called arbitrage betting. And there are a lot of softwares available. I myself do a couple of arbitrage sometimes but it's not worth it. I feel there are more successful betting strategies. You do get banned or restricted really quickly if you're arbitraging so me id rather keep my accounts alive longer and generate small profits over a longer timeframe. Also it's not worth it arbitraging 5% on a 500£ bankroll. It's just 25£ and you could get a couple a day but at the risk of getting your account banned and funds withheld if the bookie is not reputable. If you have questions I'm happy to tell you about it
In tennis the odds of a player breaking a set are way lower then the server holding a point so if a player goes up 40-15 on the break the odds will be decent if you bet on the person who has 40 in the game since they are not the person serving and can easily still lose the point. These guys are betting on the person who is up 40-30 40-15 40-0 etc the moment they win the game before the person umping can transmit the point.
You are right Sir, but bookies have a business plan to carry on, so they sistematically underpay the risk you take when you bet on anything. You may hope to be lucky to get rich, but they stick to the plan to get rich.
Iys still gambling because they can get broken on there serve it's not guaranteed they will win that point seen it happen a thousand times a server is up 40-0 and the returner catches up and wins the point
This should be such an easy one to tackle. If a user places a bet < 2 seconds before winning, 3 times within 5 minutes mark the user as sus. When user is sus, have a cooldown of 10s on every bet, meaning the bet takes 10s to place. The sus status is removed after 6 hours or a number of normal bets.
maybe but thats also kinda hard to implement. the bookies dont know when the point will be won, so they cannot allow the bet to be placed and then take the bet off again. and remember in tennis they are betting per round. and some rounds are very quick, so if they implement this rule they may also take bets off of legitimate players who arent courtsiding and they will not be allowed to bet as much. its very possible that a legitimate non courtsider places 3 bets that win within 2 seconds . and some rounds will take less than 10s so the sus status you mentioned would lose more potential profit for the average non courtsider, which are 99% of their customers.
@@chinering23 cant do that in tennis mate, its too fast pace, it will give barely any time for them to place bets and as 99.9% of their customers are normal betters they will lose a lot more profit.

It only takes the first 2/3 bets on a new bookies account for them to realise you know what you are doing, your max bet is then restricted to £0.20 (they don’t close your account as they hope you will lose all your money on their casino) stuff like this works in theory but good luck trying to pulling it off.
Stuff like this only works in theory, except for the bit in the video where they win thousands of pounds.
It worked here, but imagine the level of commitment you’d need to be successful. The guy even said how much he spends in expenses just travelling round trying to find the right game/umpire.
“I hate the bookmakers...I was addicted to roulette so yeah” nice

It's a bit different if you've got a significant advantage over the house, and in this case, the risk is either winning the money or having the bet cancelled. You can't lose unless there was a mess up in communication.

Gambling companies haven't lost critical sums.
Bookies always stack the odds massively in their favour and encourage addicts and betting on everything. Great to see someone getting it back at them.

I did this a few years ago using IPTV live streams of matches. It was at that point I quit my fledgling gambling career, took a £10 hit (at least that's how I tried to see it and not £300) and just earn money through my normal day job.
I fail to see how this could ever be done using IPTV streams that are delayed. This only works if you're there live, otherwise you have no advantage

Do bookies limit punters who win from regular football accas? Or only people who win value bets?
The title sounds like one of those ads that pop up on basic websites and take you to a page with a slideshow on it
I hate those sites

What is contained in this video isn’t gambling. Gambling is when you place a wager on something you don’t know the outcome of.
Well they found a loophole in gambling where they're able to know the outcome live before the result is processed.
The gamble is trying not to get caught doing this lol
You are right Sir, but bookies have a business plan to carry on, so they sistematically underpay the risk you take when you bet on anything. You may hope to be lucky to get rich, but they stick to the plan to get rich.
Iys still gambling because they can get broken on there serve it's not guaranteed they will win that point seen it happen a thousand times a server is up 40-0 and the returner catches up and wins the point
Your bet365 account would be flagged immediately if you were doing this and you would be stake restricted in no time.
This should be such an easy one to tackle. If a user places a bet < 2 seconds before winning, 3 times within 5 minutes mark the user as sus. When user is sus, have a cooldown of 10s on every bet, meaning the bet takes 10s to place. The sus status is removed after 6 hours or a number of normal bets.
maybe but thats also kinda hard to implement.
the bookies dont know when the point will be won,
so they cannot allow the bet to be placed and then take the bet off again.
and remember in tennis they are betting per round. and some rounds are very quick, so if they implement this rule they may also take bets off of legitimate players who arent courtsiding and they will not be allowed to bet as much.
its very possible that a legitimate non courtsider places 3 bets that win within 2 seconds .
and some rounds will take less than 10s so the sus status you mentioned would lose more potential profit for the average non courtsider, which are 99% of their customers.
@@chinering23 cant do that in tennis mate, its too fast pace, it will give barely any time for them to place bets and as 99.9% of their customers are normal betters they will lose a lot more profit.
