I am in Texas and we have a lot less cases of covid-19 then California but I am also really worried that Texas will get as bad as other places. I really don’t think that my parents are taking this seriously. I am nervous that my grandparents will get it and they are older so it could be fatal so I am just staying away from everyone.

I live in Florida and the whole state is cancelled. All public schools, all major theme parks, and local parks are slowly closing!

I have an underlying respiratory illness, and I live in London and had to fly home to Dublin today. It was terrifying, and the airport was so empty. I had to fly home because I am a student in London and I live in a dorm room, where I share a toilet, shower and kitchen. If someone got sick around me, I would be so vulnerable. I was so scared travelling home today, and I was not a calm person, but in the airport I was watching your videos and it calmed me. Thank you. This is a really scary time, but once we can get to a secure place surrounded by those who matter most to us, or even those we feel safest around, we will get through it the best we can xx

I live in Oregon - my dad got corona from San Francisco on a business trip and gave it to my brother. they are both completely fine now! it was scary at first but it was over fast.

Also... next time you bake cookies, make the dough and bake what you will eat and then freeze the rest of the dough. That way, you can just cut off a couple pieces whenever you want a cookie!

@@eviebennett1657 It's a flu that while yes most people recover from fine, having too many people have complications at once overwhelms the hospitals. That's the reason for the urgency, not that it is severe but that hospitals do not want to have to choose between patients to treat.

My school just got shut down for a month and I don’t know how to feel. I’m happy because no school sort of (I still am doing online stuff) but I’m going to miss my friends and my sister and I will be in the same house all day every day and that never goes well.

I’m glad you’re vlogging about how you’re dealing with coronavirus and just regular life. My spring break was extended so I don’t have school til March 30th, our boys basketball playoffs, school trips and the SATs had to be canceled, there’s also nothing in our grocery stores.
I know thats what happened for new jersey. Everyone is doing online school until the 30th of march. dont be suprised if sats are online as well. But i doubt. Who knows what they are gonna do with that

Yep. Gig workers now have to expose themselves to the places their clients are too scared to go to. The sad thing is those people have virtually no income security so they *have* to work right now regardless of the risk. Postmates/instacart workers are probably getting a ton of jobs but uber and lyft drivers are likely to experience the opposite. There's no 'working from home' for precarious workers like postmates & it's all fucked.

And right now its not actually in my city but its really hard to explain because its in the town 4 hours above me and its in the town 4 hours below me. So i freaking out that its going to hit my town but i just know its going to. SO IM REALLY SCARED.

Hey Colleen! I know that you are very worried and I am too( especially because all the grocery stores are empty), but hopefully by the next two weeks the stores will stock up again. Also you should try not to hang out with your parents due to them being older and more likely to catch the virus. Vitamin C is also very healthy and good for the virus! Ly!❤️❤️❤️

I’m definitely stressed, though it’s a very hidden stress, so I’m just kind of mildly anxious all day, which is making school harder, our school hasn’t closed yet, but I really want it to because I’m really tired. People talking about it makes me exhausted, and I would rather have my school close and stay at home mostly for my mental health.

Watching this in October 2021. I started watching Colleen when she announced her pregnancy with the twins and now went back and started from the beginning. And I love how she grew with the pandemic and took it more and more seriously... doing a photoshoot at her own house? She would not have done that a few months down the line...
Right?? And she had her parents and sister over the same day! She wouldn't have even done this like a WEEK later lol.

i live in denver. everything feels like it’s closed - schools, stores, etc. i work at a salon, and we really are struggling. hours are being cut, we may be having to close. i’ll be out of a job and won’t be able to pay my bills. i’m genuinely scared.

As someone who is in coronavirus quarantine (and has it), it’s NOT bad at all! The only worry is elderly- it is less bad then a cold for all people younger then 65. People have to stop panicing and just focus on helping those who it will affect.

Sunshine Shel my dad travelled to Switzerland a few weeks ago and got it on the plane. He wouldn’t even know he had it if it wasn’t for breaking his rib and getting tested as he had recently travelled. I got it from him. It is fine though.
