It's amazing how many iems Dave pulls out of that one center drawer in the middle of the cabinet. Its like a magic hat where you can pull out a rabbit and more...
I deeply appreciate you to review original Pilgrim vs Noir in detail. It was also very helpful to compare it with IE600 and etc. As an owner of original Pilgrim, I’m hesitating buying Noir version. $799 is actually close to my 64 Audio Aspire4, and I’m not sure if Pilgrim Noir is meaningful to me between Pilgrim original and Aspire 4.
Some of the sound differences could be due to the OG Pilgrim using three Sonion BA drivers, whereas the Noir uses two Sonion BA drivers and one Knowles BA.
Hi Dave - in this review you state that the noir is equal to the xuanwu gate. In a separate review you gave the SA6 EST the slight Edge over the gate. Can I assume from that, you would therefore prefer the SA6 ESD over the Noir also?
@josecintron85 thanks for checking out this review! the review for the Onix XI1 is up on the Gizadio channel. I do all of my source reviews on that channel.
Really it's $100 for tuning differences and aesthetics and $300 for cable memes. Elysian is too used to their iems being priced high enough for the Effect Audio tax to be invisible.
Easy. Buy the cheaper one. Ooen the grill ans place a sponge filter of 250mesh and then other on the outside grill of 250 mesh. Problem solved .you just saved 200 bucks

Its a center drawer of holding.

That's an interesting info. Didn't know that.
At that price, it should include at least the Term-x connectors.
that is so true. So many missed opportunities with this product
Thanks. Steep pricing vs the non-noir version.
Nice review. Man I wish you try OH700VB someday and compare them with this price bracket!
I believe at its asking price, they severely limited the amount of Noir units sold jmho
Edit to add: and the cable should've been an optional upgrade

How does Original Pilgrin compare to IE600?
Great job on the review! The Noir are gorgeous 😮
How does the ONIX compare to all your other preferred DACs? Have not seen your review for it yet.

@@Audio-In-Reviews Thanks Dave! great work as always... Switching to the Gizaudio channel to watch it.
I'd love to own one but this is just too much for me pricewise lol, maybe someday when its not that expensive
Would they pair well with FiiO K9 AKM ?
Did you get a chance to try the Pilgrim with the Noir cable?
So basically you are paying an extra 400$ for a sidegrade tuning and visuals improvement. Definitely not healthy for ELYSIAN reputation.

Get it used, problem solved.
