My month old seat wobbles. It is tightly screwed in and the seat does not mover but wobbles at the hings. This is my second Toto seat. My old one stopped working. It was 9 years old.
Are the two sides interchangeable? Could I swap them and save &60? Right now only the seat bangs down… if only the lid did it, I would never have even looked this up online.
Nevermind, my seat doesn't have the clips underneath either. I had the toilet installed a month ago! I purchased it from a friend because she changed her mind and purchased something else and it was new in the box! She gave me a great price. Now what? I can't believe it broke after a month! 😡

The cover is not soft close and also when i try to open it its hard to stay open it forcefully closes itself

I actually have no idea because every seat is different. Maybe you need to adjust the position of the seats?

Some seat lids have an adjustable mechanism ,,,,fast or slow.
Only visible if dis assembled.

How much is a replacement seat? $60 for a replacement part seems excessive
Well, I was quoted $970 (before discount) for a replacement seat set which comes complete with the base, hose and water jet.
I agree, that seems excessive. I looked on totousa.com and saw the one I think replaces mine for $74.
In Australia just a seat replacement can be over $250.00
