Most football fans who say ”bottled it" are just looking to explain every dropped point with easy blame. Most times, the other team simply turned up. If anything, Liverpool bottled it by missing a penalty -
No, they really did bottle it. You were winning 2-0 until Xhaka riled up the home fans. Starboy Saka went missing once again too. Now you have to hope City lose their game in hand and you beat them at the Etihad because their goal record is superior to Arsenal's.

As a neutral ive always noticed that when Arsenal have don't win games its because Saka and Ødegaard have had their effect on the game minimised, taking their main attacking threat away, sure Martinelli does bits sometimes but as a neutral I feel like Saka where most of the attack funnels through and Ødegaard has the passing ability with time to find areas to attack other than passing he really doesn't offer much shooting wise though. Similarly with how if you negate Rashford and Casemiro's influence in United they end up struggling heavily. I wouldn't say Arsenal bottled it but they played right into Liverpools hands, making the game chaotic is exactly what Liverpool thrive off of and Arsenal have been better playing calm and their own game, they tried to play Liverpools game in the second half and almost lost it.

Xhaka, Odegaard, white, Saka, holding & zinchenko were not great at keeping possession. That’s why we got peppered for the last 35-40mins of the second half.

Dude in the blue shirt needs to chill. If it wasnt for Martinelli, we wouldnt have scored at all. That one pass at the end was bad, but I guess he has been tired at that point. Can happen. There are other things that simply cannot happen and need to be addressed

1) There is no need to use derogatory language to voice a different view - these are football opinions, not facts.
2) Leeds also won at Liverpool and they are not too far from relegation last I checked. Context matters. We have been the best team in the league so far and had momentum coming in which showed. Also, our manager watched Klopp make change after change trying to affect the game and waited till it was too late to do anything. Lastly, Making reference to teams that did not at all batter Liverpool for any part of the games that they lost is meaningless and lacks context to this particular game in question.
