Spurs, United and Chelsea fans don't care about what's true, they care about minimising Arsenal's achievements.

Also that’s true when Leicester won it it was wow amazing a team came up and won it and who did they beat it to win the title arsenal lol no excuses about it being poor season come be fair
In every single season, a "top" team has been off of the pace. Sometimes it's Arsenal, sometimes it's United, sometimes it's Chelsea and sometimes it's Liverpool, yet it's ALWAYS Tottenham Only difference this year is that we're top and these people are coping BAD. Keep going because it's absolutely wonderful to see! Mugs
I don't get it.. In the last 2/3 sessons can we then say Liverpool and City have been lucky because Arsenal/Chelsea/United/Spurs have been terrible? That's pretty much what the argument is here
How is it a shit season when this season has the third highest points-per-game of the top two teams in the league in the last 20 year. In other words, There is nothing shit about City's form, and you cannot have a season with all "top-six" being in form.
Over the last 10 seasons Spurs have averaged 70.1 points. They currently have 53 and are bang on track for 70 points. The bad season where the top teams fell away was the year Leicester won. This spurs fan seems to have memory loss. Assume your position and be quiet man this is your level. Poch had you punching above your weight and you forgot that.
If you are, then fair play. We can scrub our argument off. But if you're not in the top 4 next year, are you gonna apologise and admit we were right? I've said for ages it's another Leicester year. But if you're competing again next season, then the argument goes away until then it's a Leicester season
@@CJ4YRD Only time will tell. They have build a good team and will only add more quality players to their team so i'm sure they will challenge next season as well. Though i must say this season has really been a strange one and the league is far from over. Any dropped points can hurt their chances of winning the title.
@@CJ4YRD The reason a lot of teams have fallen off this season is because the league is more competitive than ever, not less. The relegation battle and top four race clearly indicates that. The league is richer, more attractive and more tactically complex than it's ever been. Teams caught in transition, poorly assembled and/or poorly coached teams have been exposed (i.e Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton under Lampard, Leicester, etc) but the best coached teams have risen to the challenge (i.e CIty, United, Arsenal, Fulham, Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford, etc). Y'all need to see Arsenal are earning their spot at the top, it's not some Leicester season plus it's not like City have fallen off at all. Check their stats at this stage from the last 5 or so seasons and this season then you'll see it with your own eyes.
It's simple, Arsenal has replace Liverpool. City can still achieve 94 points, last season they had 93 points, Liverpool had 92 points. 3rd team had 74 points, United or Newcastle can surpass that, This Tottenham fan is just being bitter.
If Arsenal were below Spurs and Spurs were having the exact same season as they are now, they would he waxing lyrical about how good they are this season

I don't get his argument. Most people seem to think its been a competitive season, opposite to his view. Looking at the table for the last 5 years, teams that have finished 4th & 5th, 38 games played, have all lost around 12 games. That seems to be the average. EVERY season, you do not have like 6 times all doing great. Doesn't happen. Usually just the one winner OR 2 teams battling out. By his logic, you'd have to say every season is a poor standard, right ? They can't accept were arsenal are and that some clubs have just fallen away this season. No club is entitled... its not complicated.
If its such a poor season why aren't arsenal battling 4th like the rest and City are right up our ass mate we are holding are own this is no fluke this is pure class the arsenal 1st team is fuckiing scary man
Nonsense.... the teams outside the top 4 have been better... Brighton, Brentford, Villa, Newcastle etc have been better and have taken points off more of the 'top 6' than ever before... the league is evolving and getting tougher which only makes Arsenal's position more impressive....
Give Arsenal fans their flowers. They fully deserve their position. Every team that has won any trophy, had the opponents dropped off. That is why only one team can win it. I am a City fan.
Norwich came last with 22pt after 38 game. Atm Southampton is last on 23 post and 8 more games to go. The winner this yr is on pace to have a higher point total than last yr.
I would say the standard of the prem overall is improving. Recently been quite poor in general besides city Liverpool dominance. Most competitive season in years I’d say
Poor premier league season yet Man City are on around the same points at this stage of the season that they always are. The usual mid lower table teams are flying this season. If Arsenal hadn’t been robbed against Brentford and Utd we’d have been maybe 13pts clear
These rival fans are sooo deluded 😂😂 how can it be a poor season when Citeh are only 3 points off where they were after the same amount of games last season
this is one of the best seasons in a long time. the fact that the big 6 is broken, and even Chelsea are not completely out of it yet while a number of other clubs rock the party boat is what football is about. Spurs fans need to cope
it's not just insulting and sours to Arsenal but to Newcastle, Brighton, Villa and Brentford. we have Spurs at SJP in 2 weeks and if we bring that intensity like against Man United it could be a blow away
The top 4 (or even top 6) teams this season have about the same amount of points combined at this stage as the average from previous seasons. Just because the teams are different doesn’t make it less competitive. People who have watched the PL for 20+ years know that clubs go in cycles and no one is guaranteed top 4, just ask Arsenal and United. City and Liverpool at the top has only been a thing for like 5-6 years but people out here acting like it’s the eternal natural order.
At this point Man utd and New utd are on 56 pts after 29 games. 4th spot last season 71 pts, unfortunately that was spurs. Arsenal had 69 in 5 pos. Them points will likely be achieved again. Not by spurs though.😂
When have tottenham ever been good apart from 3/4 years finishing in the top 4 with Kane and Son. They have been forever in this position. This guy saying this is a poor season as If tottenham have been winning trophies for years
This is the perfect type of reason why Terry defends Arsenal and rightfully so being a non biased football man like he is. Keep crying the rest of you lots btw🤙
Aren't City just a point ahead/behind their average? And we are 5 points ahead of that. We have stepped up massively this season, other times it would be Pool, Chelsea or even United To say it's a worse season is just copium
It’s really stupid to say it’s a poor league season when 20 teams got an equal chance to play each other twice a season. How do you even measure the standard of a league? Only 2 rich teams like in Spain or 1 super team like in Germany and France? The EPL is the best for a reason. The point different between 20th team and 12th team is only 10 points while 11th team and 5th team is only 14 points with 8-9 games to go. The league got more balanced and more competitive. But we still have Totty fans dreaming being stupid and waking up to the truth not fast enough.
The big 6 haven’t got worse the other 14 teams have got better with the new Premier League TV deal. The likes of Forest, Southampton, etc can spend more money than Milan, Barca, etc. throw Newcastle into it and the big 6 goes to the magnificent 7
Saying it's a poor season simply off of liverpool and chelsea's spots in the table is so dumb. because yes they have been very inconsistent and deff a whole lot worse than the previous 2 seasons, but even if they were playing at this current level in those two seasons they would still have been higher in the table than they are now, because it's not just about liverpool and chelsea becoming worse it's also about, Brentford, Brighton, Newcastle and Aston Villa being a lot better. So no it's not a ''poor'' season it's a really great top 4 fight with lots of derserving challengers whom all play really great football.
Cant call it a poor league. I think its fair to say that what happened to chelsea and liverpool this season is what happened to man united and arsenal in the past. The big guys dropped the ball and the new forces took the opportunity and ran with it
Most neutrals would say this has been a phenomenal season the difference is the teams bottom of the table and mid table are better and aren't rolling over for the big teams
The only team that you could argue have ‘fell off’ this season is Liverpool. Since the last time Chelsea won the league (16/17) they haven’t really had an impact on the title race so no change there. Man United - no change there either. Spurs have done what they do pretty much every season - challenge top 4. City are in a title race like they usually are. Arsenal have just had an exceptional season so far by there own standards. The bitter spurs fan is just looking for a reason to discredit Arsenal.
The key to Arsenal is for them to fall out all the cup competitions. This has allowed the small squad to fight on the level it is capable in performing at.
What's funny is that all the metrics show that it's actually been one of the tougher seasons in the history of the EPL. I mean for Christ sake, you have Leicester and West Ham in a relegation battle with Newcastle and Brighton in contention for European spots. People act like they're going to have their house foreclosed if they admit that Arsenal have just been that good this season. Every rival is trying to find some anecdotal strawman to cope. It's actually kinda getting pathetic at this point, grown adults not acknowledging the reality before their very eyes.
City have the same average points that they always have every season. They have the best striker of all time. Apart from Liverpool and Chelsea no one else has been poor. Spurs wouldn't be complaining if they had the same number of points but Arsenal were 5th. It hurts cause Arsenal have a massive fanbase
Haha 😂 That could be said about every team that wins the PL. Apart from Liverpool, United have risen, Newcastle have risen, Brighton have Risen, villa look stronger than ever did before for a long time. 😂
This debate only backs up the league is more competitive now. Its no longer the top 6 it's more like top 8/10. Newcastle and villa have rich owners who are uilding things. Yes Chelsea and Liverpool have had a bad season but Newcastle is as tough a game as any other. Its ridiculous to say arsenal are top because its a poor season for the top 6 clubs.
Mixed-up var needs to happen pronto. On field decisions can be upheld if its not obviously a wrong one. But we need the mics to know what plans they are coming up with to save face

A poor season! The noise of someone ignorant of the history of English football For once, I agree with Egal. Any team from 12th can get relegated, and any team above 12th can get a passport to European football. Yes, due to the Winter World Cup, the season has been condensed, but every team has had to deal with the issue. Every team is in the same boat That Spurs fan should stand up, look down at his feet and see both Liverpool and Chelsea below them and then ask, "Is it really a poor season?"
Funny how city are only 2 points of their average at this point. Also us not having Jesus ,our main striker if you forgot, for 4 months and well spurs will be spurs.... You guys never have a good season and also remember our squad depth is way less than citys and city had near to only a couple of injuries. I guess there also Jealous that the pigeon hasnt scored for them yet. Also you could of taken 6 points away from us which would almost guarantee the title for city if they actually wasn't so spursy and also beat city. The trophy drought is killing them by every second. And this is why you get so much hate. Spurs fans are delusional. Also we deserved a pen from the newcastle game and could of won the brentford game if the ref actually drew the lines. Meaning we could of been 10 points clear playing the same game as city.
I would say it’s one of the most overall competitive seasons. League still undecided and anyone from 12th can be relegated. Only Chelsea and Liverpool and will say it’s a terrible season due to “THEM” being absolutely atrocious. Tottenham are doing everything they’ve always done over the past 7 years, out the cups and fighting for 4th. Being open is being competitive. They were all happy once the transfer window closed.
Arsenal are top because they deserve to be and I don't agree with teams are bad that's why Arsenal are top argument because of the point tally arsenal are currently on. But you are taking it to another extreme by saying its the most competitive season!! @Lee Murphy that's a nonsensical statement. When people say it's a competitive league, they are talking about the top of the league or the league as a whole. Logically speaking there's always gonna be a certain part of the league that's bunched up, if it's not the bottom it's gonna be the middle in other season and the top of the league some others. Logic will dictate that someone has to be close to someone in general, teams play each other. The league this season is at the top. The gap is massive. Look at how many points between 1st and 3rd. They're literally hoping and praying for us to bottle it because that's their only other hope now other than this attempt to discredit us. Patrick and Lewis were literally on The Top 6 podcast praying for us to lose. City are pretty much on course for the same points total they have been every year except the centurions. Add to that they have a record breaking goal scorer & generational talent paying up front for them this season. It's a nonsense saying this has been a poor season. I thought the premier league's big selling point is that it is the most competitive league. That's what we are getting this season with Newcastle, Brighton and now even Villa pushing up and fighting for Europe, but no, now because Arsenal are top people want to say it has been a poor season. Cope on loser. I also genuinely believe that if Chelsea and Arsenal were reversed in the table this year, most Spurs fans would actually be ecstatic with how their season is going and Conte would still be at the club.
If it's a poor PL, and specifically City has been poor, how is it that City currently has more points than at the same stage last season WHEN THEY WON?! Were they poor then as well?
It is the greatest Premier League ever, that any game of almost all teams is very important. To say it is " poor P. L." is only excuse to accept your failure. How can any one say that and his team is also not on the top? If it is poor P.L., why is your team not on the top?
Please stop comparing us to Leicester, we are 9 points off their title winning season with 9 GAMES to go. Liverpool won their league title 18 points ahead of City, who had 81 points. Was that a weak season? IF we win the league, it'll be with 90+ points talking about, "this is a weaker league" silly narrative.

Spurs fans are the gift that keeps on giving
This guy hasn't got a clue. Man City lost 4 games last season, and have lost the same amount of games. They haven't lost a step.
Arsenal on the other hand have tied the best 5 teams start in the history of the league. And are on target to have their best points total in history.
Also that’s true when Leicester won it it was wow amazing a team came up and won it and who did they beat it to win the title arsenal lol no excuses about it being poor season come be fair
In every single season, a "top" team has been off of the pace. Sometimes it's Arsenal, sometimes it's United, sometimes it's Chelsea and sometimes it's Liverpool, yet it's ALWAYS Tottenham
Only difference this year is that we're top and these people are coping BAD. Keep going because it's absolutely wonderful to see! Mugs
I don't get it.. In the last 2/3 sessons can we then say Liverpool and City have been lucky because Arsenal/Chelsea/United/Spurs have been terrible? That's pretty much what the argument is here
All of a sudden the league is poor, but when city and Liverpool were the only competing it’s the “best in the prem era”
Lol poor premier league season, that man must be a joke
its the classic case of a loser that loves to point fingers in class and blame the world for their faults
How is it a shit season when this season has the third highest points-per-game of the top two teams in the league in the last 20 year. In other words, There is nothing shit about City's form, and you cannot have a season with all "top-six" being in form.
Imagine it being a “shit season” and still being 4th!!
Wonder what they'll come up with when we're challenging for the title next season
Delusional Tottenham FAN, I'm not surprised..I know it upsets you to watch the growth of Arsenal and the potential Premier league winning season, there is no such thing as a bad season, Arsenal are coming to win playing like champions and working hard to stay at this level week and week out..you should be worried more about the likes of Aston villa and Brighton a team you just managed to beat with the assistance of bad VAR
Someone get that guy a bag of chips for all that salt for heaven sake! 😂😂😂
U can't fluke the league title ffs
I would say the standard of the prem overall is improving. Recently been quite poor in general besides city Liverpool dominance. Most competitive season in years I’d say
Poor premier league season yet Man City are on around the same points at this stage of the season that they always are.
The usual mid lower table teams are flying this season.
If Arsenal hadn’t been robbed against Brentford and Utd we’d have been maybe 13pts clear
The truth is spurs would need 19 other teams to have a really poor season to be considered challengers
"By our standards" 😂 Spurs fans are an embarrassment.
These same fans call the prem the best league in the world but now it’s poor because Arsenal are top
it's not just insulting and sours to Arsenal but to Newcastle, Brighton, Villa and Brentford.
we have Spurs at SJP in 2 weeks and if we bring that intensity like against Man United it could be a blow away
Wtf is this Tottenham fan saying 😂
gunners need to play very well to beat Liverpool
When have tottenham ever been good apart from 3/4 years finishing in the top 4 with Kane and Son. They have been forever in this position. This guy saying this is a poor season as If tottenham have been winning trophies for years
This season has never been more competitive in my time watching football... next season is gonna be unreal COYG ❤
This is the perfect type of reason why Terry defends Arsenal and rightfully so being a non biased football man like he is.
Keep crying the rest of you lots btw🤙
Aren't City just a point ahead/behind their average? And we are 5 points ahead of that. We have stepped up massively this season, other times it would be Pool, Chelsea or even United
To say it's a worse season is just copium
This has allowed the small squad to fight on the level it is capable in performing at.
last years when city and liverpool were the top 2 teams, then they were not lucky arsenal, man u and chelsea were at their top?
Spurs fans are deluded it's not a poor season spurs fans just hateing we have improved past them and are top of the league trust the process
Poor premier league and Ten hag is to incompetent to get the same place ole did in his only full season .. 2nd So you are saying ten hag is worst than ole and must be fired? Or are you a hypocrite??????
How have City been poor when they’re on course to have ANOTHER 90+ points season lol
A poor season!
The noise of someone ignorant of the history of English football
For once, I agree with Egal. Any team from 12th can get relegated, and any team above 12th can get a passport to European football.
Yes, due to the Winter World Cup, the season has been condensed, but every team has had to deal with the issue. Every team is in the same boat
That Spurs fan should stand up, look down at his feet and see both Liverpool and Chelsea below them and then ask, "Is it really a poor season?"
I have to admit Spurs built a beautiful Stadium but what's the point if there is no heart no passion and no life in it
I would say it’s one of the most overall competitive seasons.
Uuummmm no its not, explain how??? 3 or 4 teams would be bunched up if it was and you wouldn't have a 5 point lead on top, look at the gap between 1st and 3rd.
Of course league is undecided bloody 10 whole games to go.
@@adamismael1119 competitive throughout the league, other than the top two, it’s all close with 9 to go. The teams on a whole in the premier league are much much closer. Any 15 premier league teams would get a Europe finish in any other league and probably right for a champions league spot.
@@adamismael1119 arsenal are to because we deserve it. 💯 the league doesn’t lie. BUT, City have much easier run than we do. We have to win against city and not lose today.
I'm sorry, but that statement makes no sense what so ever.
@@leemurphyhaverhill how is it close between the others apart from the top two????? Explain that. Now you're just speaking for the sake of speaking.
There's 17 points between 4th and 10th that's roughly what it is most seasons.
There is lil truth in it... Arsenal would have beaten Liverpool, Chelsea away, Spurs twice if they are not shit this season
Yes Arsenal are lucky and so were city for few seasons in row only Liverpool competed it is not always 4-5 teams challenges for title 😂 anyways Arsenal has Liverpool today in front of them COUG..👍🏽
Var was at its best when there were no fans. These refs can’t hack pressure and are too easily influenced by the crowd
Whether some teams are poor or good cannot take away from a team winning the league. Every team is responsible for their form.
Saying it has been a poor season is one of the last throws of the dice for these salty rivals. Just another attempt to discredit Arsenal's improvement.
Does nobody remember how poor the season was Liverpool won it, the season was hurrendous all the big teams poor
The anti-Arsenal agenda has been exposed this season. We've been saying it for years.
It is the greatest Premier League ever, that any game of almost all teams is very important. To say it is " poor P. L." is only excuse to accept your failure. How can any one say that and his team is also not on the top? If it is poor P.L., why is your team not on the top?
That brighton game is what spurs have been doing all season let’s be real. That’s why they are contending for top 4
If anything this is the most competitive season in awhile…the whole league has a battle going on from top to bottom
My question is , is it Arsenal's Fault 😂that other teams have been inconsistent like what the heck
Agree that crap comment so every one us crap.every year who comes 2nd to 6th ....rubbish..go gunners
The man said Tottenham have been poor by there own standards..They ain’t won anything for over 50 years so what standards is he talking about..?
By this time last season two teams had gone down this has been so competitive and unpredictable.....
What do we think of Tottenham???
Shit
Sheeeet!!
Liverpool has the only premier league title with a asterisk
Tottenham DO NOT HAVE STANDARDS.
Stop disrespecting Arsenal.
Haha!! Spurs fan said it.. That Tottenham (could ) have got to third in the prem (but haven't) means it's a poor season' Looooooooll
This is the most competitive it’s been in years
The poor season argument simply isn't true. Go look at the points totals for the last few seasons.
