Pally and KT have a relationship of two people who like each other from a distance with one (Pally) trying his best to get together and eventually found a way to make it work. I love it.
When you said the part about not playing KT like an AA hero, I didnt realize how much I needed to hear that. I was doing the same thing with him. My KT play improved so much in just a couple games. Thanks Pally.
Well he does have a pretty fun AA build imo.

29-7 now following your builds. This is basically how I play KT already and I'm not particularly good with him. I don't like being squishy and like it even less when there's a tracer humping my leg with no tank or healer to help me out. I was hoping I'd be able to win this one though because I am terrible at Kelthuzzad and would like to avoid a losing streak

the one thing I would say is "flawed" with kael'thas is that mana addict is so important for his kit that I would almost say it should be baseline.
That would be a neat adjustment, similar to what they seem to be doing with a lot of the characters.
play a lot of arams and you see that he is really powerful in the start and then curbs off in the later game. Good character but late game far less scary.
gonna have to hard disagree with u there. Your statement holds if you go Convec, and if you are going convec in ARAM, there is your issue. The extra dmg from convec doesnt do sht late game but your shield can get insane. and Flamethrower at 20 allows you to shred the usually group other team from a screen away
@@royalfishness1 I never go convec. I'm not saying he is bad late game, just early game he was scary, late he is normal
Ya my main is Kt in low masters.. 65% wr… you take ignite spec at 7,16 and take flamethrower 20 you can delete the back line to 30-40% with 1 q and that ignite can spread to his other teammates… and you still have ur Ignite to use
@@ricocomedy1770 I think that's pretty much what I have been using. First half of the game he is just scary because the other team doesn't have that much health and their heals are not super great. Late game he is still fine but the other team tends to have more defense to not die as easy.
@@bradmoshenko7733 i see Kael thas as more of a supporting follow-up then a massive dmg dealer... so yeaa, i dont like Ignite at 16.. i mean, that's why you get to throw your Flamestrike every 4 seconds with Pyromanic and with second explosion, you empower Q to zone with it, if your team gets a good engage, then 1 flamestrike can seal the deal on the teamfight. also, you can follow up the engage with your E stun. Empowered it can stun 3 characters. Excellent follow-up for an ETC slide or Garrosh throwing 2 enemies into your team. Get that burned flesh bonus 2 twice for "free" and that close, you can put your own living bomb onto one of em.

I would imagine practice, SOAK, and keep an eye on the mini-map. I would suggest pushing your heroes to the absolute limit in AI so you know at what health you should be playing even safer than normal.
Valeera is the bane of KT's existence. Looking forward to that KTZ game btw, I've been trying to learn him lately and it's been a wild ride.
Watching Pally's character arc with KT has been treat. Back in the TGN days. Good memories.

watching your great videos I realized ive been playing kt wrong. Informative.
As a life bronzer I can tell you that KT is the most hated and is an instaban for me for one reason. Pyroblast point and click 2000 damage is frustrating to deal with. It's frustrating to be deleted simply for walking in the range of a KT with less than 50% health.
That is why you don't just wander at low health ez pz, also if you just back up while he is channeling he'll never get the cast off anyway. If pyro kills you, then most anything else could do the same.
probably 70% of the game roster has some form of counter to it. either a basic ablity, heroic ablity, or talent that provides spell armor/protecton etc.
Just finished a QM of KT where I was the damage and soak. Leaving with top damage at 110k damage and top soak at 40k+ exp gain.
Pyroblast? Average Adam would be proud

Took me a while to love hots but when i did the love was eternal. Kt is the only hero that fits me btw. Took me a while to get a feeling how far i can take the fights.

Pally really changed my views on kaelthas. I used to go full flamestrike. Now I don’t.
I can guarantee that at the start nazeebo wanted to go bot because he was struggling and 7:01 was murky flaming him for dying bot

Yeah that has happened a few times, my favorite was when you could freely cast his 'W' with no mana or cooldown for the whole game. Assuming you knew how to trigger the bug
