At first i wasnt sure about the paint apps on bane . Then i went and reread knitfall and its spot on to the comic book art and i do mean spot on . All the blue on the fig is on damn near every , if not every panel that bane is on in the comic
Yeah people bang on about the Mafex figure being more comic accurate, when they both are in their own way and the opening image when you open up Knightfall is of Bane holding up Batman and they both look exactly like these McFarlane figures.
@@MegaSting1981 100 % agree w all that. Even after comparing the first release bane fig w the tank and harness from mcfarlane, which at the time i was convinced that was gonna be the definitive bane in my collection. But after finally gettn my hands on this one and going back to read the stories again.. idk which is better. But they are both bangers in my book. The mafex release jus looked awkward to me for whatever reason plus was mad expensive so i had to pass on that one.
Thanks man! Yeah this was a much needed re-release just because of how much they first one is going for! Is it the cell shading you don’t like on this one?
I like the fact that the two different batmans have different blues because batman still infact had a number of different suits in the batcave. Looks like a suit he used to fight bane specifically. Oh and yeah Mcfarlane doesn't really re-release mega figures unless hes selling a two pack. Its knightfall so the selling strategy is to cater to those fans who wanted a bane and batman knightfall set. Although this is Not really a re-lease. Same mold. There are different parts like the silver venome tube. There's no venom tank as the original bane was not illustrated with one. The head sculpt is different, and its repainted.
“McFarlane doesn’t really re-release mega figures unless he’s selling a two pack” - You sure about that? Swamp Thing, Cy-gor, Ice Giant, Violater and Titan Joker all got rereleases - all have the same molds just slight different paint deco, no different parts. Thanks for checking out the video! 🙌
@@RealPacPhotos yeah but those aren't DC mega figs. Maybe I should have made that part clear. My bad. Finances are different for different company licensing. Spawn is Todds own character as well. Titan joker was hardly a re-release just like bane he was repainted differently and certain things in the mold were changed. He was a glow in a dark special edition.
