The thing about Batman is that even when he isn't wearing a costume he still uses his resources to help people. He is a hero 24/7. He may only be human, but he is more of a superhero than most.
Indeed, but to further the tragedy as well as horrifically herculean nature of his goal, even wielding the vast resources of a megacorp like Wayne Enterprises for years on end alongside his own one-man crusade of crimefighting could barely put a dent into the festering cancer of moral corruption and decay that infests Gotham City. Whatever he and Diana pulled in that one "what if" alternate world that showed a future Gotham as a shining crime-free city, it has to have involved a genuine miracle.
1: missed the release 2: HOLY CRAP IS THIS BEAUTIFULLY DONE! You can HEAR the emotions in the lyrics, not just feel them. It fits Bruce perfectly, showing the suppressed rage of his parents' deaths and how he releases it on the villains he fights.
I love how this truly captures Batman without even directly saying anything Bat related! I LOVE this and I really hope we get songs covering the rest of the Robins!!
Another AMAZING track from Divide that perfectly incapsulates Batman's struggle with his inner demons and what makes him so iconic over 80 years later! And adding that gothic Phantasm-level choir in the background during the chorus was perfect! Really wish Kevin got to hear this one, but I'm sure he'd be more than proud if he did!

honestly, this kinda encapsulates batman's mentality, but not in the way yall think. the line "you cant tell me what you are" reminds me of the phrase "you are the effect you leave on other people", and thats what batman is, he is the effect he leaves on gotham

You saved the heavy hits for the knockout, but kept up the pressure with those drums, and held masked tragedy in your voice the whole way. phenomenal song, I really enjoyed the progression into chaos as you told the story. It made the story feel very grand, and the ending being so abrupt almost without a true resolution really ties into batman's seemingly never-ending fight. Kuddos

phenomenal song, I really enjoyed the progression into chaos as you told the story. It made the story feel very grand, and the ending being so abrupt almost without a true resolution really ties into batman's seemingly never-ending fight. Kuddos

I was both excited and worried when I saw Batman was the next character in line. Probably my all time favorite character in fiction, so I am very particular about anything to do with him. This is so good, I can't stop listening to it!
I want Divide to make a song about Assassins creed so badly. A master assassin deserves a song from a master music artist.
