संसद के बजट सत्र में शन‍िवार (10 फरवरी) को अयोध्‍या में राम मंद‍िर उद्घाटन पर सदस्‍यों ने चर्चा की. चर्चा में ह‍िस्‍सा लेते हुए एआईएमआईएम के अध्‍यक्ष और लोकसभा सांसद असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने कहा कि देश के मुसलमानों से बार-बार अपनी देशभक्ति साबित करने के लिए कहा जाता है. उन्‍होंने यह भी कहा कि क्या मैं बाबर, जिन्ना या औरंगजेब का प्रवक्ता हूं?सदन में अपना वक्‍तव्‍य रखते हुए सांसद ओवैसी ने पूछा कि क्या मोदी सरकार स‍िर्फ एक समुदाय और एक धर्म की सेवा करती है? क्या 22 जनवरी को अयोध्या के राम मंदिर का प्राण प्रत‍िष्‍ठा समारोह एक धर्म की दूसरे पर विजय थी? ओवैसी ने यह भी कहा क‍ि वो भगवान राम का सम्मान करते हैं लेक‍िन नाथूराम गोडसे से उतनी नफरत करते हैं ज‍िसने उस व्यक्ति की हत्या की जिसके अंतिम शब्द 'हे राम' थे.

First, govt should answer Owaisi and not the speaker. Second, he says SC said that Babri mosque was made after demolition of Ram Mandor ? This the court never said. Owaisi started reading from SC judgement. However, it is surprising that instead of continuing reading judgement he opted to revert back to his speech. I don't think whatever he said afterward will have any effect on the ruling party. Besides, Mr. Speaker has mentioned many thing which is not there in the judgement. When Rahul Gandhi had said that "SC ne kaha chowkidar chor hai" , contempt proceedings was initiated against him for attributing something to court which the court not mentioned in its judgement. Finally he has to appolise to the Hon'ble court. I think Mr. Speaker also made the same mistake BUT it was inside the parliament. If MPs & Speaker get immunity inside the parliament building or house then why an MP has to say sorry as the statement was outside the parliament
