    Happy Tuesday! This week, we're painting some flat style winter florals in Procreate! Create the same bouquet or use the different elements to embellish holiday stationery! These are simple elements, but are sooo versatile. In this beginner friendly tutorial, you'll utilize multiple layers to establish hierarchy among elements, group layers and apply clipping masks to create additional visual interest. We only use one free brush (above) for the entire piece and the color palette is free, as always (also above). Let's get started!
    I use the Paperlike screen protector on my 3rd gen iPad Pro (12.9", 256GB). More info here: paperlike.com/everytuesday
    The Apple Pencil grip you see me using in the video is called the Nimble Grip, available here: every-tuesday.com/grip

    This is so great, I especially love the pine. May I suggest that to view deeper layers while also keeping the upper layers visible for positioning, adjusting the opacity of the upper layers can be useful (you just have to remember to restore full opacity when you’re done).

      Yes of course! Either method works great - personal preference :)

    Lovely drawing, as usual.. I've watched so many of yours. I'd like to make a suggestion, if you haven't implemented it yet. Use the recolor tool to fill in all your spaces, such as the shadows on the leaves, all at once. Such a time saver.

    • @EveryTuesday
      @EveryTuesday  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, agreed! All of my recent tuts use the recolor tool which unfortunately didn't exist when this one was published. SO happy they have that now!

    Hey I just wanted to say that your tutorials are what made me gain confidence in my art and it's been 10 months since I started watching your videos, so now what I do before doing your tutorial is just download the palette and try to create my own bouquet first. And I have to say they're getting better and better, thanks to your great tips !

    • @EveryTuesday

      Aww yay! That makes me so happy!

    Thanks for the tutorial. I duplicated the flower groups and tweaked the petals colors to make them look different instead of redrawing them. ( i know I'm lazy :) )

      Recording a screen is realllllly difficult color-wise, but we try our best! Feel free to adjust the colors to suit your preference 👍

    Hello Teela! I don't know why but when I want to fill in a petal with a color, it just fills the entire screen. Can you help me with that? I may have changed something in the settings not on purpose but I'm still new to Procreate and I don't know which one. Thanks a lot for your tutorials, it really helps me a lot!!

    • @unefeedanslesetoiles
      @unefeedanslesetoiles 3 роки тому

      Ok, don't mind my question. I've just found out that the color drop only works with certain pencils ^^ At least, I've learnt a new thing today! :-)

    My colors look a lot different than yours, for instance my pointsettia colors are more orange/coral in tone than yours appear to be in the video. Is it because I have an older iPad or version of Procreate??

    • @EveryTuesday
      @EveryTuesday  3 роки тому

      The video recording + editing process can alter the colors' appearance slightly - the palette provided is the exact one I'm using, but feel free to change them if you'd like!
