This was amazing. I love it so much, I wish there were episodes. I relate to Natalia so much and I loved the scene on colourism, excellent acting. I love that it had a spoken words feel to it at times. We need more positive representations of young black people in the UK like this. Well done👏👏👏
Love is not obsession. As black women we need to learn that parenting black men is not love. Nor does giving affection equal reciprocation. Great film. Some really important issues addressed: such as the black girl making the remark about race to the lighter skinned female. This is so prevalent and unfortunately alot if racism exists in the black community from both sides
I know I am two years late but I find it so encouraging and edifying when I see black queens supporting and uplifting each other. I know we black men don’t say this enough but I will say it on our behalf; our black queens are priceless👸🏾👸🏿👑
Cinematic, great suspense held at the end and a true depiction of some of our conversations amongst young black friendship groups. Loved it. Keep it up guys.

Thank you, we are glad to see that you were so moved by the Pride and Pack. The films were made by young Director and Writer RM Moses and I am sure he would love to have been able to produce more of this story and make a series out of it but it requires a lot of time effort and resources. He is working on other projects at the moment so keep an eye out and hopefully this work will inspire others to tell these beautiful type of stories and break the stereotype. Thank you for watching all the way from Detroit and for sharing with you peoples. ❤️💛💚

The ending scene was a bit unrealistic. One minute he’s questioning her about who the baby’s father is but then when she said they’re having twins, he switched. Hope there’s another episode at some point though still.

The light skinned struggle is real. After I heard that same speech from one of my friends, it made sense, but thats partially a cheap copout. I grew up fighting and being called names. I was always "White Boy" etc. but children don't consider preferential treatment and all that stuff. I was the minority, and looked like an easy target. Fast forward, my dark skinned, nappy headed, wide nose having "friend" made sense. If we two went for a job interview, me with my light skin, narrow nose and strait hair, I would likely be hired over him. But again, even dudes that don't even think about life in the strait world wanted to see me bleed. I was lucky enough to have travelled the world, and I saw racism/colorism in almost every country I visited. Especially in Middle and Eastern Asia.
Binzy Tata Im not talking about people who are mixed Im talking about light skinned people. Mixed people are two different races, light skinned people are people who are black but just have lighter skin. Whether your dark or light it doesn’t matter, you’re black if you’re black. Saying stuff like mixed are mixed and not black is what adds fuel to the fire of colorism and fetishism. It’s not the lightskin or mixed peoples fault that they endure what other people think of them, nobody’s telling them to have preferences, it’s not people of different complexions fault. Damn.
Binzy Tata exactly. So why bash the lighter people and not the black men who exploit this behavior. Nobody is enduring it, people are just giving it off.
Would be interesting to know what was it that made you came with the bad opinion? - But really gladded to hear you ignored those impulsed and stayed the time to enjoy the film. Thank you.
I think my opinion was just wrong, many reasons, i've been on reddit a lot looking at people talking about gender roles and swapping etc, i thought it was going to be something like that (i judged of the picture and the title). However, guys that only date light skin girls do end up mistreating them as well so don’t get it twisted. Colorism sometimes can save black girls a world of heart ache from colorist men. You just don’t see it yet but in time you will. Took me hearing from wise older black American women that. Plus level up season is upon us don’t be chase dusty guys with that mindset. Leave them.
Exactly calling mixed race people needs to stop she’s biracial. People are are fair in complexion with two black parents are the ones who are lightskin
It was well done. I'm a black woman. I don't understand why someone would feel like their skin is not "good enough" or that they should change what they have. Nobody should.
