Do the springs do anything, or do the spindles just twist from the tortional load and lock on the pivot bolt? Why didn't you use any bearings? Wouldn't the welds be a weak spot?

nice job on choosing the 5/8 bolts for the 7/8 wheels!

This is very very clear. The caster angle will be important, please go deeper on that. I about to start building my frame soon. Will be helpful

I noticed you had a fair amount of space in between the spindle shaft and wheel bearing. What are you going to use to compensate?

springs on the spindle would have been welcomed if shown in action (working)

Man thos DOM tubes are short AF, the leverage on those is gonna be crazy, i wldnt bother w the springs at that point.

Congrats to your short intro, it could even be a little shorter and still get the message out here.

This is a really weak design. Sorry to be critical but the scrub angle is horrible, 5 degrees caster isn't nearly enough with a solid axle, wide cart. The springs are useless, far too weak and will bind from tortional load, the 5/8" bolt doesn’t work with 7/8" wheel bearings and will bend or break the weld. The "C" chanel made from flat bar should be radiused or gusseted. 1"×1"×1/8" tubing will deflect until the elastic deformation is exceeded, then it'll bend or snap. This should be used as a how not to build a cart for anyone heavier than a hamster

Hi, what do you mean with the C being radiused or gusseted? Do you mean it should be more square and not so reqtangular? Thanks

@@torbjrnaabergenes9971 the "c" is welded flat bar. Looks about 1/8". It should be gusseted for strength or cut out of c channel or boxed steel. It's much too weak

@@BruceBusby ok, i agree that by making it out of box section steel, it will be a lot stronger. I think i will be making mibe out of 5mm thick box section square tubing. Do you think that will work?
