Since the base of the window openings are flat you should make sure the bottom board is cut with a sleight slope to allow water to flow out of the house. I just use my table saw with the blade at a 5 degree angle and cut the board then install it. Getting one more project checked off is so satisfying.
I was in construction for over 40 years, and I never knew the blue was de-hydrated smurf tears... The things you learn on YT are valuable for the rest of your life...
Get a soda can. Cut off a chunk of the can and customize that chunk to fit on the back of the tape measure where it is broken and then refine the chunk till it is just a tiny bit less as wide as the tape. When it is good get some super glue and glue that patch under the broken section. Clamp it or tape it till the glue dries and you have fixed the tape measure.

Hey as far as tape measure go, try Milwaukee’s 25’ magnetic-dual side-with finger control underneath which acts as a finger protector while scoring a board with a knife or pencil.
The sense of humor in these videos is definitely an A+++ ..and burning through tools sometimes is just part of the job😂 (loved the blue chalk is dehydrated smurf tears joke!)

The siding is a fiber cement. It is insanely strong, so with the high winds we get down here it will help to sturdy the building. We are planning to finish the master bedroom along with the bathroom! Thanks for all the support 💛
