You are an amazing teacher! Ive been binging your content this last month and you give off the energy of such a humble, authentic soul of integrity. So greatful that you chose to follow your purpose, because its helping me and others fufil ours ❤
I really loved this type of video your perfect chemistry teacher really happy and helpful and it was really informative and I understood very well thank you sister lots of love and blessings 🥰❤️ happy to hear your hands and health getting better come back soon sister lots of love 💖
Thank you so much Tara you're a phenomenal teacher. You always explain everything in such detail and at the same time you make it not only fun to experiment, but easier to learn.
Would you be willing to post a recipe the tree hut whipped body I have been trying to figure out how to formulate it. Could you please post a video of the recipe!!
I'm watching your videos from about 4 years ago and i can clearly see how much more you have evolved. more confident and extremely better video audio quality. I loved the way you explained experimentally in this video. Never stop Tara ❤❤
Hey Tara! I just discovered your channel through this video after a long and frustrating night trying to get my tested formulation to work on a large batch. I'm also self-taught in this fascinating new world, only a few days into it, so understanding these building blocks of chemistry is super helpful! If I might add, I think this video would have been a great place to discuss the effects of crossing the CMC (e.g., by having more solubilizer than needed for the amount of oils) and how to mitigate potential downsides such as cloudy emulsions (spoiler alert, not by adding more emulsifiers! haha). Also, your disclaimer was great. Allow me to say, despite not defining yourself as a professional, your humbleness and passion for your craft alone would make me choose your products over those from large companies any day. It's a pleasure to listen to you as well! Both the video and audio were great. I'm definitely subscribed!
❤ I have a problem I can’t figure out! I used your sugar scrub recipe, but the oils always separate and come to the top. Can’t tips? The recipe: 1.5g cetyl alcohol, 15g emulsifying wax, 51g oils (20g almond oil, 21g coconut oil, 5g jojoba oil, 5g white willow bark extract) 1.5g optiphen, .75g vitamin E, 1.5 fragrance and 75g of sugar! Any feedback would be sooo appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hello Tara, big thumbs up for all your wonderful works...I have been learning a whole lot. I need to discuss with you one on one as regards what you do...I want to affiliate with you, how do we go about it.❤❤

I was wondering could you do a diy chapstick? I tried a natural chapstick on Etsy I didnt really have to keep on reapplying like I do with the store bought one now I've been wanting to make my own
Hi i am your huge fan, i want to learn cosmetic formulation like you can you please guide me how to learn it what to study for it like any course, diploma.
Tara, 1st of all Thank You! I had been watching Vids, Reading Posts, etc on making Skin Care Products (hydrous body butters & also face creams) for over 1½ yrs (made a few batches) & Could Not grasp Concepts of How to Formulate (until I found your Channel) nor did I know about Making Products Less Greasy & More Lightweight by substituting Oil Portions with Other Very Effective Ingredients (ie C12-15, Coco Caprylate, etc) so Again Thank You. Now it's time 4 U 2 Enjoy the rewards/benefits for your Hard Physical Work - creating, packaging, stocking, advertising (thru Social Networking non stop) & Shipping & Handling) by Closing Your Physical Shop & FOCUSING your Hard Won Knowledge & Talent into Sharing & Teaching (with cont'd Demos I hope) of your Wonderful Formulas (We can Still Have Your Products - We Just Have To Make Them Ourselves!)! Watched your Vid from 8 months ago about giving up the "Store" part of your Business (been there, done that & based on the past 26 yrs of dealing with Life after being "forced to give up Successful Career & dealing with debilitating pain, etc at 42 (now 68) I felt compelled to Share My Hard-Won Knowledge & to say that "in my Opinion Only", being Forced to give up the 'Physically-Hard & Time-Denanding hard-labor portion of your Business & Forced to Rely on your Intellectual Knowledge & Exceptional People Skills (You Connect with Us & Make Learning Easy & Enjoyable instead of Complicated & Stressful) You have been Laying the Groundwork for Your Success all this time with putting in long hours on Social Networking to get your Name & Products 'out there' & Now that 'Advertising will be paying off Without Needing Products 'on the shelf'! Sorry for your pain - but Extremely Happy that you've Made It (Name Recognition & Capabilities), Sit back & Enjoy Not working so hard!
awesome information, thanks for sharing! i think you did a great job explaining it at a most beginner/basic level without, like, talking down or anything. also idk if its the makeup style or what but you're looking like a young gwyneth paltrow here!
Thank you so much for breaking this down is an easily digestible and accessible format!! You're the teacher I've been looking for all over the internet to help me understand the basics of how surfactants work, without being overwhelmed by 'the science of it all'.
WAIT A MINUTE! I copied the link to your "percentage" video to send to someone. How in the heck am I just noticing that the gap in your front teeth is closed! You look MARVELOUS either way. Hope you are healing well! 😁
It’s been gone since 2019 😁 I know some people miss it, but I’m so happy I closed it. I have no regrets. I was a little worried I’d regret it, but I haven’t missed it once.
Hi Tara ☺️ , I'm a pharmacist interested in formulation and products, I'm enjoying your vedios and pleassed to see you learning every day 🎉🎈 love and respect 🥰❤️
Wishing I met you/Discovered your channel earlier in life... You look so much happier now after surgery hope you are recovering well... Awesome content, physics and chemistry has been fascinating all the time and teacher like you makes everything better😊❤❤
Awwh thank you! I’m definitely seeing a light at the end of the painful tunnel I’ve been in 😂 feels good to finally be back to working. I’m glad you enjoyed the more sciencey video 🫶🏻
@@TaraLeee Trust me I know how the recovery process after surgeries feels never ending May Lord Krishna bless you forever dear... Thanks for replying.. you are such a wholesome girl love you so much ♥️♥️ You made my day
Thank you so much for this video! I asked u on insta abt emulsifiers and u didn’t respond but this video literally explains everything! Thank uuu for everything!!
Yeah I haven’t been working since August 31st because I had surgery. All the content I’ve posted since was pre recorded. Also, I don’t respond to every message on Instagram because I get too many, but I am so glad this video helped! I’m planning a video on emulsifiers soon too 😁
Thank you very much for your channel i learnt alot from it❤️❤️❤️i have a question how do i know when to use ionic or nonionic emulsifier? I love the way you explain in your videos ❤️❤️❤️
When it comes to creating an emulsion you can typically use any type, but it can vary depending on what other Ingredients you are using and how you want the product to feel and what your products final PH is. Btms 50 is cationic so it will condition the skin. It will make a more velvety feeling lotion. It isn’t compatible with anionic ingrdients though, so it will destabilize with those types of ingredients. Non ionic emulsifiers are probably the easiest since they don’t have ions and you won’t have to worry as much about stability. Emulsifying wax NF is non ionic. Then there is ritamulse SCG/ eco mulse which is anionic and this may destabilize, just like any emulsifier might. And you also can’t use it with cationic ingredients unless that cationic ingredient specifies that it’s is okay. For example honeyquat is cationic but you can use it with anionics. I’m planning an emulsifier video 😁
