Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 15 airport projects, including 12 new terminal buildings, during his visit to Azamgarh.

Inauguration of new terminal buildings at:

2. Kolhapur Airport
3. Gwalior Airport
4. Jabalpur Airport
5. Delhi Airport
6. Lucknow Airport
7. Aligarh Airport
8. Azamgarh Airport
9. Chitrakoot Airport
10. Moradabad Airport
11. Shravasti Airport

Laid foundation stone of new terminal buildings at:

The 12 new terminals will collectively handle 620 lakh passengers annually, and the three new ones, once completed, will increase the combined passenger capacity to 95 lakh per year. These terminals feature advanced passenger amenities and sustainable elements like insulated roofing systems, energy-saving canopies, and LED lighting. The designs draw inspiration from local heritage, reflecting the state and city's culture and history.

No Mention of Varanasi Airport anywhere. Truly saddened by the news. 10 years have passed since when PM became The sansad of Kashi but nothing has been done for the 3.7 million people, No new Airport terminal, No expansion of roads, No metro, No advanced traffic control systems, No Feasible Parking areas, No modern railway station, Nothing.....
Just using the name of Kashi for Political purposes nothing more.....😢
