Something's in life truly are mind over matter, if I don't mind, they don't matter!

I was thinking of your recent video on this topic except as applied to time. Of course you can’t save up time but you can put it towards something you really want to do and free yourself up for that time by not wasting it habitually.

Oh my that's a great way of thinking about time. I'm less apt to waste it if I think about it as a more tangible thing. Save time in one place to spend it on something I value more. Thanks!

Well said, Donald! Treating time like money or other nonreknewable resources definitely makes it easier to grasp.

Our brains are powerful so train them to think the way you want! Great point. You did an excellent job explaining this perspective on saving.

Thanks, Ellen! After reading “the brain that changes itself” I am absolutely convinced we can do anything we put our minds to. ^_^

@@happyandauthentic I'll look into that one. A youtuber I know that does sleep meditations now but used to also do mental health videos and taught about hypnosis really stressed how powerful the nonconscious mind is versus the conscious. And to train yourself to do things not through willpower but by new neural pathways. That it's more beneficial to short circuit the path to say, anxiety rather than dealing with anxiety once it's risen.

Amazing, isn’t? The more I learn about the human mind, the more fascinated I am.

I've always been like this. I can't understand why people get Just Eat takeaway pizza delivered for £25 when you can buy them at the supermarket for 89p.

I 100% agree with that, Liz! Just makes way more sense to me.
