Garden East (Urdu: گارڈ ن ایسٹ) is a neighborhood in Karachi East district of Karachi, Pakistan. It was previously administered as part of Jamshed Town, which was disbanded in 2011. This area surrounds the Karachi Zoological Gardens hence it is popularly known as Gardens.
The area has a large presence of Ismailis due to their Jama'at Khana (or prayer hall) being located there.
The area was predominantly residential but over the last few years, smaller commercial areas have grown to cater needs of residents.
Many Restaurants can be found in Big Bite area of the neighborhood.

I spent my childhood here just close to Jamaat Khana. But it was all big houses and a lush green area. But then it was very spacious large plot bungalows, a Diplomatic area, US Library on Britto Road corner Nashtar Road. Austrian High Commission resident and St Laurence school college and Chirch on Patrik De Soza Road, Iraqi, Afghani, and other Embassies on Business Recorder Road. Most residents were Parsis, Christians, Israelis, and some Muslims. Now it looks like Mohen jo Daro.
