Part 45 - Raiders Get Swarmed - Infection Free Rome

Evening time brings in a dog pack and we head out to kite it south of our safe zone. About this time we get a swarm warning and think about pulling some units back in case they are needed. It will take the swarm a bit of time to reach us, but we should think about preparations since we don't have a wall around our whole area yet. A raider group is swarmed and taken out by a horde or two in the early hours of the morning and we kite what remains and then loot the building for those guns and ammo. We sit on the border of the max citizens now for our settlement with 615 so when we find a party of wanderers it pays to route a squad out to them and ask them to join us. Adding more Greenhouses to bring in more grain bags, but it still probably won't be enough. Several hordes are spotted from the south again and we work on kiting those and that means the swarm is headed for us from there as well.

This is using the version from Major Update #2 (0.24.8 I think) and doesn't have the new #3 stuff in it with custom buildings, area scavenge, Scientist Storyline, and Repairman, try it out on your own and let me know what you think of the new update!
For this playthrough we have selected a section of Rome Italy as our starting point on MEDIUM difficulty, follow along and sound off if you are familiar with any of the things we will be exploring.
