Thanks for spreading the love, Proud member of The Wolf Pack since 2017 when they released their 1st song, Don't Bite The Dust, Bought everything they've released ever since. Best metal band to come out in 30 years since Priest and Maiden. They are the new Metal Godz.
Great choice! An awesome song to introduce someone to Lovebites! Check out their songs "Addicted" or "Golden Destination" from the same live show! Dont think you have seen those yet. Thanks for continuing to support this fantastic band and stay safe!
Miyako deserves her place on the list of World's Greatest Guitarists - living or dead. Together with Midori, they rival legendary guitar duos like Smith/Murray (Iron Maiden) and Tipton/Downing (Judas Priest).
best live band on the planet. so technical and precise. your friend needs to hear some of their power and thrash as well. i would recommend the live version of 'break the wall/ shadowmaker/ piano etude' as it shows the diversity of the band.and then just for pure shredding 'scream for me' is a must see
@@itsarchie1261 YES ! i've been a fuki fan since lightbringer. and as i am sure you know their keyboard player mao has a large footprint with his collaboration with lovebites. got both doll$boxx cd's. no regrets buying them even though all of the songs are on youtube
@@ChrisPage68 yeah i'm a fool for the lives also - but even there the keyboards are used as backing tracks occaisionally. example : in the breakdown part of break the wall live they are loud and clear. but i like it anyway as it just makes it more complete. but i still try to figure out how they do it so seamlessly with the perfect tempo that fits so well
Yes, welcome back again. Lovebites always give a bites in every single they performance. Lovebites still have many song. Next, try this.. The song is "Addicted" from they live concert. This is a link : ua-cam.com/video/G21Krrb3qas/v-deo.html Hope you check out, and can enjoy it too. Big thanks🙏
In a way, sure. Lovebites are amazing. But there are already Japanese bands that remind me more of Nightwish, thanks to their theatrics and their grandeur. Galneryus or several visual kei bands come to mind.
LOVEBITES - Edge Of The World lyrics: Why do we learn to hate, deceive and lie, hurt each other? Why does it never end? The sorrow keeps on repeating Wailing, come downpours of the rain Will it end? No one ever knows Wondering, what only time can tell What is at the end of life? Why do we only see our own desires? Greed is endless Why is there authority when there is no justice in their rulings Struggling like feeble, helpless fools Will it end? No one ever knows Wandering, not knowing where to go Carrying the breath of life Standing at… The Edge of the World As long as you're still alive, remember - don't fear standing up, don't ever give it up Until the day you meet your end, it's not over - let your soul shine inside of your heart As long as you're still alive, remember - keep your dignity, stay true to who you are Until the day you meet your end, it's not over - let your heart love and always be loved How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever
Miyako started learning guitar at 18 and fortunately she joined Lovebites. If Miyako couldn't develop a good music career she would probably end up becoming a regular music teacher. Midori, also learned piano at a very young age but she finally deviated from classical music. Midori started learning guitar at 20 when she entered a vocational music college. Compared to the more classical music influenced Miyako, Midori likes aggressive fast heavy metal and energetic pop music. Their different music styles and personalities make a wonderful combination for Lovebites.
Thanks for spreading the love for this amazing band. Here's hoping that once the coof calms down you'll get a chance to see them live in person yourself, it's well worth it! Also I'm not sure if you've ever reacted to another Japanese band called DOLL$BOXX? Also superb musicians and performers and a very unique sound that mixes a number of genres together. They've got lots of great MV's you can check out but if you'd be interested in a slightly longer clip (about 14 mins long) there's this amazing video of them performing 3 songs live: ua-cam.com/video/Q_ufJIdkbR0/v-deo.html The tracks are Shout Down, KARAKURI TOWN and Sekai wa Ai wo Shitterunda (translates as "Surely the World Must Know Love")
A great start but for a guitar player he would love Scream for Me LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/9Og4gvSUmCo/v-deo.html) where Midori and Miyako really up the game on guitar, or maybe Raise Some Hell LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/Qm-3zhCFghg/v-deo.html). This is a masterpiece but a soft one for sure.
one of their softest songs. Wonder what your friend think when it gets some speed? I mean there are much more impressive dual work between Miyako and Midori, than this. Beautiful song though
This is Super Masterpiece of Ladies from Lovebites. Great reaction.
You did it right, just let your friend react on his own time without pushing him. Cool reaction, this is one of my 30+ favorite songs by them!

@@DocOfRock-p4j I think his keyboards are too dominant on Lovebites' albums. I prefer the live recordings.

My first time hearing these gals.😉 What a production! They could be the Japanese version of Nightwish.😁👍

It is more like Iron Maiden, Helloween and the early Metallica had a threesome. :D
"Empty Daydream" also gives that 80s metal feel))) enjoy))

Next cover Fingerstyle by Alip Ba Ta Numb (linking park) 🙏🏻
No matter how well you think you play a musical instrument, there is a Japanese Lady that plays it better. (stolen/paraphrased)
I agree with that.
