Anyone who has been a content creator knows that people that talk like this about content creation being hard is trying to sell you something or get you to buy into something. It's all branding.
The only response you will get to criticism like this is 1) completely ignored or 2) Engage with it on a surface level without engaging in any of the actual criticism and trying to misrepresent your criticisms to his audience
He is usually more knowledgeable when it comes to the music industry considering he is a tour manager for Electric Callboy, He also know a lot about Guitar brands and Drum set brands, whenever he reacts to new music, I think he could prove you wrong for the most part, He usually does research but this time he did let the bias get the better of him.
Have you seen his “updated opinion”? He essentially just repeats the same stuff, and NOW claims he DID watch the clip. Or that he HAD watched it when he made this video. It’s wild. I haven’t been watching Tank for long, but his videos about Finn certainly haven’t left a good taste in anybody’s mouth. 😏
I think I agree with your position because if its all and only about money, why would he stop? Why wouldn’t he want to surpass his goals? It has to be him admitting he’s a grifter to cover up either the embarrassment that comes with not dealing with criticism well OR a cover up for something else. He wouldn’t be admitting this if he didn’t think something worse could come out is my take.
One more thing because you just reminded me of it with your grift comment, Finn is pissed because he failed, the whole point of the punk rock mba was to be like a DIY business school showing bands/clothing labels/fanzines etc how to grow their business however, it was the drama/troll content that was getting him clicks so he went on the grift and kept it up. I will say my beef with finn is slightly personal I remember him telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about in a convo about business finn did business at the university of Cincinnati, I did business management at the university of bath a university that is vastly more prestigious than where he went. I mention that because it's his lack of attention to detail/knowing who he's talking to can get a bit grating, I remember on one of the videos he's telling someone in the comments "facts" about bring me the horizon who was correcting his video, the person he was telling THEIR MANAGER. Also you and the punk rock review I very much enjoyed your top level roasting of finn.
I got in a car accident October 2023. In the last 14 months I've been able to walk without aid for 6 months and that was while in great pain I can't work so it's cool to hear someone claim that UA-cam is hard while he's at least fairly successful and I'm barely able to leave my couch and when I do I'm in a lot of pain and still need crutches Love that for him Keep patting yourself on the back, Hank
Incredibly hard work from Hank here. Didn't watch the video, Just uploaded a basically unedited Twitch stream to UA-cam,. I don't know how he can keep up this pace. Talking out your ass is very taxing. Hopefully he takes a couple of days to recenter himself after this grueling couple minutes of maximum effort.
I've also seen this guy pop into a comment section or two for those same "smaller channels," to go to bat for Team Finnigan. Something about "at least he was being honest, what about all the channels that aren't?"
Turns out hank the tank the tech watched the podcast and doubled down on everything he said. And glazed Finn even more. He even said Finns opinion that linkin park have been washed out since 04’ was a fact and not just Finns opinion which he happens to agree with.
Sounds like backpedaling to me. You don’t say “which I still need to watch” on accident. In his first video he 100% hadn’t watched it. Which makes everything crazier, because that means he then DID watch it, and decided he’d release an “updated opinion” spouting the EXACT same nonsense.
It was also a strange difference of Finn too. He was Equating it to doing a job you don't like. Hank the tank tech completely glossing over all the shit talking Finn do to people that didn't agree with him. We all know that Finn didn't quit and make a big seen about it because he "made his money". He wasn't making the kind of money to keep up with the mundane grind and dealing with the toxicity of his channel, which he is responsible for in the first place.
@Nomad5980, yeah I work in stone processing plant, hard work, dust, working on high altitudes and then I hear these UA-camrs complaining how hard it is... I know every work is hard in some way but this is incomparable and cringe.
it used to be Rap Beefs now its UA-cam content creator beefs. Im loving all of this LOL I do agree with you Dan on the most part here and im liking your channel the more I come to it. Keep it up!
I think Finn is doing this for marketing purposes. What better way to market yourself as the ultimate product marketing guy than to tell your future clients and LinkedIn bros you created a successful brand out of something you didn't even like.
Do you think, that in a couple of years, someone will remember Finn at all, or will Finn's statement be a dark reminder whenever he is mentioned, like a Finn Syndrome?
He is a tour manager for Electric Callboy. There’s a bunch of his stuff that I like, but I haven’t in a while. I did watch this video of his, and it, it seems pretty stupid. Whatever it’s his opinion.
I dunno how directly related this is, but when I was a kid my dad used to take me to festivals and stuff, and I noticed that smart hippies can make an entire living off of gullible hippies. But I feel implying Finn is "smart" would be like almost Mother Theresa level generosity. UA-cam recommends me Tank the Tech stuff often, but I've never clicked on him cos the judgemental part of my brain thinks he looks like his personality is 40% internet and 60% beard. Though "Hank the Tank the Tech" makes me think of a book I had as a wee lil' nipper called Hank The Clank, about a friendly ghost who had an identity crisis after letting the pressures of society get to him. It had beautiful illustrations.
I can’t believe these people are complaining about the effort it takes to make a video. All Finn did was read a Wikipedia page and the recite the information in front of a camera and then an the editor did the rest
When they deserve it, yeah. When they make a 23-minute video based on something they haven't seen, yeah, I'm a bit mean. I care about this stuff, and seeing the basic corners being cut by a big name in the space is super annoying.
Here Dan goes again lmao 😂 And here i am watching once more. Btw i love how you called finn out almost two years before everyone else. Nice work and great foresight my dude.
There are a shockingly high amount of people in the industry that actively do not care about the music. Sometimes even the artists don't care. Sad state of the industry in 24.
I was legit outraged when he showed your channel then says no one does YT for the enjoyment, or love etc. And then the 'small creators' are making content about this to 'just make $'. Which is it bro? I felt like he was targeting you & riding hard for Fink! Absolute strawman arguments to be pro Fink. This guy is the smooth brained one. Hank the Tank the Tech is 🤡 🥿🥿
He’s either runnin or hidin from something OR he’s a complete narcissistic sociopath. And he’s all like What!?! It’s normal I mean who tf just does that?
I first started watching TankTheTech when he called out Blue Ridge Rock Festival last year in September. That’s when he actually made great content because that was hands down the worst music festival I ever wasted my time going to. Digressing I agree 100% with your point on this. How can you possibly make a video about something you didn’t even watch first? That’s just stupid as fuck
I genuinely liked Tank until his mask off moment simping for Ronald McRadke. Which was the same reaction I had when Cuckleberry Finn proclaimed he was friends with cops.
The last I time I watched a TankTheTech video I couldn't stop thinking about how he was born to appear in a Brady Bunch remake singing "Time To Change" as Peter Brady when his voice cracks (repeatedly). Did he go to the Eddie Trunk school of broadcasting?
I'm not surprised about Tank glazing him. The guy doesn't even say anything about Ronnie Ra*ke apart from tiptoeing around. Like he is trying to be nice to everyone so he can get the most clout/money. Come on man
I knew Tank would take Finn's side since they have spoken to each other before. Edit: 4:33 Did you check out Finn's update video on his PRMBA channel? He talks about burnout in that video as well.
Left a comment on your slop channel yesterday about this. Glad to see you cover it. Hank dismissed the actual criticism. And just trying to blame it on "burnout" is hilarious
Finn said years ago he started this for money.. this isnt new. He didnt have any passion for this. He grew out of this type of music a longtime ago and people that havent are losers. And still nobody quit watching his content...except for me i guess because i dont see anyone else bringing this up. Unless maybe they just only use twitch or something maybe? But he said all of that. The backlash over his wife and what not probably had something to do with him leaving but he was always just in this for money. 100%
...People need to dig into that. He left the same time Finn did, after posting a video about how him and finn talk a lot and have stuff planned. He left at the same time (came back for a second recently)
Throwing my shirt out for a dan framptom autograph! Seriously great work and I'm enjoying your channel. Im about to call out a big (terrible) creator in the Mortal Kombat space. Do you play MK? We have some metal heads over here and I'd love to play friendly matches with you 🤝 Either way, subbed and keep up the great work man
You think someone that WORKS in the music industry would have a lot more respect for the music artists create. I lost a lot of respect for him after this. Also, he's whining about all the hard work when 90% of his videos are re-uploads of twitch streams 😂
Ahh I made it! 1 hour! Usually, I end up catching these after 8 hours uploaded. Also after I saw that TanktheTech vid he said, "i love you," as a send off like, Do you really? Literally just said he ends up doing things he doesnt like for the sake of viewership as if he doesn't control his own channel. Why even keep the act? That attitude can make sense for day jobs. Why tf would you let that misery pass on a dream job??
You rule, dude. I respect you, I found you a year or two ago and really liked your content because I can tell you, Punk Rock Review and Wyattxm are the real deal. Count Blagorath deserves a shout-out, too. Real rockers and not yes men con artists.
oooo good call in that. I would have never put that name out there, but man, it could be good. I wanna see an NXT win in the women's, Guila or Vaquer. For the men, Jey Uso would be crazy.

Anyone who has been a content creator knows that people that talk like this about content creation being hard is trying to sell you something or get you to buy into something.
It's all branding.
The only response you will get to criticism like this is
1) completely ignored
or
2) Engage with it on a surface level without engaging in any of the actual criticism and trying to misrepresent your criticisms to his audience
If people are defending him....does that mean they're just like finn?
Either that or they are really dumb lol
@@danframpt0n tank could be both
Merry Christmas bro loving the new videos
Merry Christmas man! Thank you so much!
Honestly, The video Tank did was more ignorant than the Ronnie Radke video, Love TankTheTech but dang.
I wanted to love him! I really did. I have subscribed to his channel so I hope he can prove me wrong
Hank the Tank was my grandmas favorite meme celebrity animal
a woman of class and taste, obviously
A fraud, grifter, elitist and poser at the same time (he somehow managed to do it) and a groomer.
And the guy still defends him?
...
Tank is a poser sympathizer
Lmao.
because he is one.
He tunes up air guitars at the merch table.
@@cj_lillington lmao
Tank the Ozempic Tech
I like HankTheTankTheTech, but that McGrifty take was a bad look
Hank is about as big of a joke as Finnlin’.
I'm starting to see it
One more thing because you just reminded me of it with your grift comment, Finn is pissed because he failed, the whole point of the punk rock mba was to be like a DIY business school showing bands/clothing labels/fanzines etc how to grow their business however, it was the drama/troll content that was getting him clicks so he went on the grift and kept it up.
Great comment. Thanks for sharing. I hope to do more content with the punk rock review so stay tuned
Haha didnt expect to see Bath mentioned here, I'm in warminster hahaha
@@mcelsykewas using it to illustrate how finn doesn't know what he's on about a lot of the time 😂
4:20 he’s such a lame person
I got in a car accident October 2023. In the last 14 months I've been able to walk without aid for 6 months and that was while in great pain
I can't work so it's cool to hear someone claim that UA-cam is hard while he's at least fairly successful and I'm barely able to leave my couch and when I do I'm in a lot of pain and still need crutches
Love that for him
Keep patting yourself on the back, Hank
Incredibly hard work from Hank here. Didn't watch the video, Just uploaded a basically unedited Twitch stream to UA-cam,. I don't know how he can keep up this pace. Talking out your ass is very taxing. Hopefully he takes a couple of days to recenter himself after this grueling couple minutes of maximum effort.
facts on facts lmao. surprised he didn't pull a hammy
I've also seen this guy pop into a comment section or two for those same "smaller channels," to go to bat for Team Finnigan. Something about "at least he was being honest, what about all the channels that aren't?"
we love to see it. Big man strong! Lol
I remember a while back last year or the year before on one of Dan's videos on Fin and Rank was all like "Well here you are talking about him" 🤓
Turns out hank the tank the tech watched the podcast and doubled down on everything he said. And glazed Finn even more. He even said Finns opinion that linkin park have been washed out since 04’ was a fact and not just Finns opinion which he happens to agree with.
I have it qued. I'm at work atm. Can't wait to hear lol
Sounds like backpedaling to me. You don’t say “which I still need to watch” on accident. In his first video he 100% hadn’t watched it. Which makes everything crazier, because that means he then DID watch it, and decided he’d release an “updated opinion” spouting the EXACT same nonsense.
"He did documentaries", yo Herzog, Michael Moore eat your hearts out, amateurs!
Hahahahaha. Herzog mentioned!
He's desperate to stay on Finn's Xmas card list.
As your first 100th listener well done for nearly 20k followers, plus you were right about Simo Mccenty all along
Keep it up!
Thank you! I'm so hyped to have u along for the ride. Let's gooooo
UA-cam reactor reacting to someone reacting to Finn McKenty is the new YT meta nowadays.
I think Finn is doing this for marketing purposes. What better way to market yourself as the ultimate product marketing guy than to tell your future clients and LinkedIn bros you created a successful brand out of something you didn't even like.
Do you think, that in a couple of years, someone will remember Finn at all, or will Finn's statement be a dark reminder whenever he is mentioned, like a Finn Syndrome?
watched tanks response and he pretty much said he is a grifter also
He is a tour manager for Electric Callboy. There’s a bunch of his stuff that I like, but I haven’t in a while. I did watch this video of his, and it, it seems pretty stupid. Whatever it’s his opinion.
Typical tour manager behavior tbh haha
Why do you guys care?
Hahaha I'm gonna have to check out Hank the Clank
Finn is smart, clearly. The tragedy is that he's morally bankrupt.
I can’t believe these people are complaining about the effort it takes to make a video. All Finn did was read a Wikipedia page and the recite the information in front of a camera and then an the editor did the rest
Bro, that's too much work!
Tankthetech just doubled down some more in his newest video responding to his coment section.
Do you genuinely have anything nice to say about anyone?
When they deserve it, yeah. When they make a 23-minute video based on something they haven't seen, yeah, I'm a bit mean. I care about this stuff, and seeing the basic corners being cut by a big name in the space is super annoying.
Here Dan goes again lmao 😂 And here i am watching once more. Btw i love how you called finn out almost two years before everyone else. Nice work and great foresight my dude.
This is my wheelhouse. He botched a drama video. That's my absolute stuff!
I have nothing to add, but I cannot stop watching the fall of McGrifter
There are a shockingly high amount of people in the industry that actively do not care about the music. Sometimes even the artists don't care. Sad state of the industry in 24.
i like how hank tank has a rodecaster turned on in the background but all the sliders are at the bottom so its just for lighting i guess hahaha
Oh yeah dude. He's a streamer. It's all about the RGB
Subscribed. I also went to unsubscribe to Tank and it turns out I wasn’t even subbed! Win/win.
Finn McKenty is the biggest snob and grifter he pulled a Keemstar on the Punk and Metal community
he didnt even watch the video thats actually insane
I couldn't believe my ears
Wow! Two of my nemesis. They (and their fanboys) insulted me for criticizing them on comments. It's good to know you are in the right place.
Thanks for calling him out, because his take is absolute shite.
9:21 I don't think he's coping. I think he's seething!
Hank The Tech is a poser. I watched one of his videos. Dude has horrible takes on bands,
“I watched *ONE* of his videos”
“Dude has horrible takes on bands/is a poser”
Sounds like you and him have a lot in common.
Hank the Tank the Tech is 🤡 🥿🥿
They all want to talk "around" me. Soon, they won't be able to ignore me.
@danframpt0n Muhahahahahaaaaa!! True homie. 🤘🏼
Who could have predicted that some guy named "Hank" would prove to be a dope???
Hahahaha solid
Before I watch the rest of the video I’m at 3:54
Not only small channels called him out. ARTV or maybe Beyond ARTV called him out and he has over 100k
Yeah, i should have mentioned John's video. I loved his take. So firey
@@danframpt0nI know, it spoke to my soul.
Nice response to Tank The Hank, or what ever his name is.
He’s either runnin or hidin from something OR he’s a complete narcissistic sociopath.
And he’s all like What!?! It’s normal
I mean who tf just does that?
I first started watching TankTheTech when he called out Blue Ridge Rock Festival last year in September. That’s when he actually made great content because that was hands down the worst music festival I ever wasted my time going to. Digressing I agree 100% with your point on this. How can you possibly make a video about something you didn’t even watch first? That’s just stupid as fuck
Finn is autistic and struggles with mental health. Hope he’s okay. I understand his subs being upset. Bizarre behavior by him.
You're a sweetheart
Love your content.
Not me because he says, on his LinkedIn, that because he was autistic he was Biologically incapable of bs-ing!
Yet another metal capitalist hardliner who always rubbed me the wrong way
I stopped my game of yahtzee to ask.. who you got... wu style... ghost face vs method man?
M.e.t.h.o.d maaaaan love that dude
I genuinely liked Tank until his mask off moment simping for Ronald McRadke. Which was the same reaction I had when Cuckleberry Finn proclaimed he was friends with cops.
Guys background looks like a Tshirt wall at Hot Topic.
The last I time I watched a TankTheTech video I couldn't stop thinking about how he was born to appear in a Brady Bunch remake singing "Time To Change" as Peter Brady when his voice cracks (repeatedly). Did he go to the Eddie Trunk school of broadcasting?
Lmaooooo
I think it’s time I hit the subscribe button. Watching internet drama can be amusing.
I'm saying!
Bro, you went in on this dude!! It was glorious. May I never get on your bad side.😅
Today, we went nuclear haha
I'm not surprised about Tank glazing him. The guy doesn't even say anything about Ronnie Ra*ke apart from tiptoeing around. Like he is trying to be nice to everyone so he can get the most clout/money. Come on man
The button was begging the whole video to pushed lol
Hahahaha it really was
I cannot stop calling him HankTheTankTheTech now. I honestly forgot that's not his real name lol.
I knew Tank would take Finn's side since they have spoken to each other before.
Edit: 4:33 Did you check out Finn's update video on his PRMBA channel? He talks about burnout in that video as well.
So sad lol
Tank lost a sub and Dan gained one ... Life will always find a balance
Left a comment on your slop channel yesterday about this. Glad to see you cover it. Hank dismissed the actual criticism. And just trying to blame it on "burnout" is hilarious
You inspired me to rip the bandaid off lol thank you
@danframpt0n Oh Hell yeah. Glad i could help lol I knew exactly who you were talking about as soon as you mentioned people defending him.
Finn McKunty and TanktheTech definitely headbang to Jelly Roll
"SoMeBoDy SaVe Me !.!"
Tank like Finn dishes out advice / “wisdom” that is really basic shit as if it’s some really well-refined “insight” from their supposed experience
Its my first experience with him but he seems to talk out his ass and say the most surface level stuff imaginable
Heres what i don't understand. How did Fin hit his financial goals if on average he made only $70K per year over his entire youtube career.
Because that’s probably definitely not what he made each year. 🤣
@@BonyHawksToeSkater You think he made way less? I'm just going what he made off the screenshot which I'm assuming was also a humble brag or whatever.
So much passion here. I love this video
I couldn't believe my ears
I want BecometheKnight to say something. Probably won't tho
...People need to dig into that.
We have some metal heads over here and I'd love to play friendly matches with you 🤝
Either way, subbed and keep up the great work man
I subscribed to Finn believing it was a Punk Rock channel like the title stated. Instead he talked about Asking Alexandria and Takeshi 69!!
You think someone that WORKS in the music industry would have a lot more respect for the music artists create. I lost a lot of respect for him after this.
Also, he's whining about all the hard work when 90% of his videos are re-uploads of twitch streams 😂
Any youtuber who sides with Finn is ratting on themselves and how they see their audience. I've never heard of TankTheTwat but he smells of McKenty.
It's like when your parents don't let you have ice cream for dinner. " I don't like ice cream anyway*.

Dan, you give really real deconstruction of these "dramas" and that's why I love your videos.
Exactly! It's wild to me! Also, welcome to 3 hour gang. The water's nice
Also interesting that Finn quit UA-cam when the pedo accusations about him and his wife started to come out.
Tank seems a little spineless tbh
I hope he's shows up in this comment section. You think he will?
@danframpt0n Definitely. Tank already showed up in your comments before to glaze for Finn😂
Awesome channels btw. You got my subs for both.
You know TanktheTech works for electric call boy don’t know that that band is but he name drops constantly
Thank you! That's all he needed to say
His videos been up for 1 day, yours has been up for a week. If your criticism is about views, his his video some time to gain traction lol
You rule, dude. I respect you, I found you a year or two ago and really liked your content because I can tell you, Punk Rock Review and Wyattxm are the real deal. Count Blagorath deserves a shout-out, too. Real rockers and not yes men con artists.
