- On September 6, 1991, Tony Bennett did a 90-minute, two-act concert at The Prince Edward Theatre in London. The concert was (gratefully) filmed and released on VHS/Laserdisc in the 1990s. Unfortunately, it was never re-released on DVD!
This is a true crime to Bennett fans as this is easily the finest concert of his ever captured on film, hell its a worthy follow up/"sequel" to the 1962 Carnegie Hall concert. There is a 44 minute "official" version on UA-cam but its obviously only half the show, while claiming to be complete! This is all the footage that was released back when it was first put out in the 1990s. Enjoy :)

I love UA-cam for the opportunity to see these wonderful moments in time.
Of course, he was a favorite singer of mine, but as I reflect back on my encounter with him, it was the songs and their lyrics that he introduced me to that I most appreciate!
What an incredible performer. I was lucky enough to see him twice in Paris. He was past his nineties and still dazzling on stage. A true legend indeed.
Tony, God blessed you with that extraordinary voice which we all enjoyed and loved. You were one of the greatest singers in the world. The one and only. RIP, Tony.
His music moves me, each and every time I hear it. His legacy lives on, such a gift.

Mr. Tony Bennett, you were there when I was 12 they played your sons at the skating ring, I was skating in tune with Rags to Richess, I am now 82, I miss you so much your songs is all I have left.
The difference between him and others like Sinatra or Martin was, those were great singgers, but Bennett was an interpreter, the greatest in the business, celebrating his songs!
He loved those 'old songs' as do I!

When i was 8 years old and my father and uncle were making pizza on he boardwalk in South Beach NY and my father would give me a nickel and said put it in the jukebox and play "Because of You" by Tony Bennett i must of played that 10 times a day, I still play it today,that was 74 years ago! By the way! Pizza was $1.00 !! whole pie!

I had this on VHS back in 1994 and never put it on DVD so I thought I'd never see this again. This is by far one of the greatest live performances of our time. He's 93 now and can no longer hit these notes and the beautiful words AS HE DID IN 1991. Nonetheless an icon for the ages with absolute grace and God given talent. Thank you for putting this on UA-cam from the bottom of my heart.❤

A month before this I saw Tony live for the first time at Seattle's opera house (Aug 30 6:30 pm). Except for the first 2 rows he played to an almost completely empty house. The next time I saw him was at Washington's Puyallup fair. Saw him about 12 more times after that over the years including at the Hollywood bowl. But those are stories for a different day.
That is Really hard to grasp..The few times I have been there "Man a full House" Last time doing his magic alongside Lady Gaga..Spouse and I. Tony found time to chat. We let that we caught his gig at the Long Beach City Playhouse..Not an empty seat in that vast arena! No Way Man not with Tony Bennett!
