I'm dutch, but have lived in DC for 4 years when I was younger. And I used to watch these videos. I also watched alot of sandra lee cooking vids. I miss the child in me
I remember my younger self watching these, I didn’t know the name of the channel so I had a special way to find the videos, going from a peppa pigs toy commercial to this.

i made this cake for my sons birthday it was a hit i stopped buying cakes two years ago i never looked back cant believe i wasted all that money on frosting which ended up in the trash thanks for the great ideas and my kids love to watch the process

Howdini Guru, I love to watch your amazing clips because it is awesome. Btw there is another way you can cut off the dome of the cake it's called a cake leveler and sorry I don't know how to spell it but still you should get it.
i like those trimmed out domes!. make a choco sandwich out of them, filled with a good layer of choco frosting. beats out the fire truck cake by a mile!

I will say, the "airplane landing and taking off" icing tip did actually really help when I made my last cake. Turned out really well
