@@bmwmarc I restored vintage RC car and struggled a bit with the body. Later I found fiber glass homebuilt body of this special looking M1. So that's why I'm asking as I'm owning the same car, just 1/8 scale. Thanks for info!👌😉
@@czkarting my bodywork comes out of the original mould. But there have been some changes over the time they built them. You should have a longer tail on your rc car like the first original cars had it. Is that car the rc car made by graupner?
@@bmwmarc Yes, my body isn't 100% the same looking as original. Also dimensions are bit different I think. Car is 4WD also. But fitting chassis nicely. No, chassis isn't factory one. It's as they call it "home build". Not fully builded home, as you know it's not possible. But somebody designed and build this car by himself. He's probably worked at well equiped machine shop..... I bumped in to some pictures of your build, when I worked on my small car and looking for more info about. You did fantastic job on that car! 👌 I'm working on historic cars, so I know well what it takes...
@@bmwmarc Hi Marc are parts obtainable for these cars or is it quite difficult to source? Im doing a tube chassis for E89 Z4 and can get the bodywork no problem - i wonder if i could do something similar with an M1 and bring it fully up to date with a modern motor and electronics package. Is your build documented online anywhere? i love the M1
Always love hearing those screaming M1s. Love seeing the Alfa's in the mix as well. Thanks!
What a treat to see these classics out on track, top footage as always BM!

Do you have a video of the endurance racing legends at spafrancorchamps with the 24h ?
No, I didn't go there this year.
Ford Capri Turbo Zakspeed has about 750bhp.
That BMW from paddock at 2:11 is original Group 5 March M1, anybody knows please?
It's a new build Chassis, made between 2010 and 2017. I am the owner and driver, so if you have any questions 😉
