The art does not disappoint. I'm not a fan of the tier rarity system for base cards. A base shouldn't have to be considered a bit. That's what the parallels are for to drive chasing cards. I love Masterpieces, but 36 cards for $500 is too much. I'd rather see 4 cards per pack at a price of $300 per box.
$500+ for this is insane! I’m glad I watched your video sir, saved me some money! lol There’s no reason on earth ANY card should be numbered out of /1999 😭
Do you try to complete at least base set of each series you break? At what point do stop buying a series? Once you complete the base set, get enough of your chase cards, or get tired of breaking dud boxes like these first two in this series? Or is it a combination of different factors? As always, I love the content!
I really liked the Marvel Platinum set that I found this last year on retail shelves. Hard for me to overlook the big investment in a 2024 card set like Marvel Masterpieces. I do enjoy seeing you open them though. Always rooting for you to get a nice spidey …….and a Hercules from time to time. You are definitely due for a good box after the last two you opened.
damn mirage!!! i sent out that card from marvel masterpiece 96 you warned about not coming back in high grade. came back a 6. you were right. thank you for the breaks
I was going to get this set being that these cards are on the high end and the artwork is pretty good. Unfortunately the hits for the characters I collect seem to be very rare and the other characters are on the low end for me. We shall see what Topps has to offer.
Does anyone know what topps is going to do for their top of the range marvel releases? Do they have licence to “masterpieces” or they will come up with their own high end series?
Unfortunate box, at that price point it’s hard to get up for it. Easier to obtain singles in most cases, that being said there’s very little thrill vs opening a box.
Great art by Nahuel but the checklist of characters he had to work with for this set was really really bad. Probably the worst in Marvel Masterpieces history.

Great number match on the Hulk Purple!

Ooof, that was a rough box. These seem to be a case of feast or famine. Thanks for the video!
the set is bigtime overpriced for what you get & how much was printed

Love the quality of your video.

It will most likely be the same as their current Topps sets. I'm not terribly familiar with them but isn't there some Sapphire set?
What are the 9 card sleeve specs for this card size? Also top loader? Thx 👊
These cards fit nicely in a 100pt
Top loader
It seems that maybe the corners and edges arent nearly as damaged as 2022MM was but I havent seen enough of them yet.

Is it at least 10 cards per pack, then yes. Bit, since there ripping people off with only 3 cards per pack, it's not worth it
